The Campfire is a place where both killers and survivors find themselves after each of the Entity's Trials. It is a place of gathering where the denizens of the fog can come to group up to improve their odds of escaping the beasts of the fog.

Above everything else, this group is essentially your Dead by Daylight PC insurance. In the unlikely event that the game dies, this group will enable its members to continue to play Dead by Daylight via KYF. I sincerely hope it never comes to that, but it's better to be prepared than surprised in my book.
