I have to put in a positive review for this game, because every negative review is the definition of skill issue.

Textorcist takes a precision genre (bullet hell) and adds a twist - you need to type out words to do damage while using WASD to move. This isn't a big deal in the standard mode, but there's a hard mode where things get pretty challenging. It's very easy to mix your hands up between typing and moving, it's very well done. I have a few scenarios left, it got challenging enough that I dropped it for a bit and haven't come back yet.

"My hands hurt" or "I'm bad at typing" are fine reasons to stop playing a game, but this game is supposed to be difficult.

This is an absurdly hard game that has no right being so difficult. Expect to have much more hours than me.

That said, to enjoy this game, you must be a good typer. As in, 100wpm+ touch-typing multi-tasking good. Unless you're a masochist, of course. Some parts of this game use Latin, so you can't rely on it being only English words.

The game itself is a bullet-hell of epic proportions, even if at times, a bit unfair. Ultimately, I enjoyed it using a mix of the arrow key controls and shift+WASD as required. The story didn't much immerse me but it wasn't particularly bad, and there is post-game content I'm currently in.

The bosses are sometimes poorly balanced, and honestly, the only boss I didn't beat in my first three tries was the one in the Vatican Gardens.

Overall, this is a neat little game, but satisfies a very niche typing - bullet-hell target audience. Just note that the final boss achievement is considered a <10% obtained achievement.

I've never realized how bad of a typist I was until I tried to play this game. I knew how to type, but badly. So badly, that I couldn't get past a very early scene in this game. I started to practice typing again after about 30 or so years, and I quickly became able to keep up with bullet hell and typing heaven!
