Hey there!

More than 30,000 people currently have ARTIFICIAL in their Steam Wishlist! I never imagined this would be possible! My original goal for the project was somewhere around 5-7k, and even that felt a little bit too ambitious at the time. I'm very happy to see so many people interested in my work!

There are a lot of things happening behind the scenes, and I hope I will be able to talk about everything in regular monthly updates, which will be starting soon!

Demo impressions

Just finished it and I already can't wait for more! The atmosphere is brilliant, reminds me of the behind-the-scenes parts in Portal, but more dark, cramped and dangerous. Constantly squeezing in between rocks, machinery and the ominous background darkness creates a really unique and immersive experience. Plus the end of the tutorial gave me a good spook, loved the design there. Hello Everyone!

Next Fest Developer Live-Stream!

ARTIFICIAL is taking part in the October Edition of Steam Next Fest which is live right now!
There should be a Developer Live-Stream happening today at 20:00 CET. I will be playing ARTIFICIAL live, talking about the game and answering your questions!

You will be able to watch the Live-Stream on the store page of the game or on the main page of Next Fest Event. Right now there is a pre-recorded loop running so don't get confused by that. ^^

Of course you can also play the demo which is available for the duration of the event but will also stay available after the event ends!

Milestone of 20 000 Wishlist reached!

In the meantime we have reached the milestone of 20 000 wishlists on Steam!
We are currently sitting at 24 875. ARTIFICIAL got over 5000 wishlists in less than two weeks which is really crazy compared to the fact that it took me 2 years to get the first 5000 wishlists for the game. Thank you for all the support! ːp2cubeː

Nice game. But not so nice feedback.

Please, forgive me this mentor's tone - this is just my habit, not my disrespect to creator of this REALLY INTERESTING game!.. What I already found here in discussions and what I'm agree to: +1 to Trancparency of holded object (esecially if it's throwable); +1 to Some-below-of-the-center-of-the-screen Place of Subtitle appearance; +1 to "More Space!" It's too tight space as for me. We need levels to be wider. At lest a little bit......

Quest 2 issue

I cannot get the game to launch in VR, it keeps launching in flat screen mode. I have tried launching it from the steam VR app and from the oculus link, both are having the same issue. I have tried other games and the majority have been launching properly. Any idea whats causing this?...

I'll be honest, I didn't enjoy the demo that much. The game looks quite nice but the pace of the gameplay is too slow for my liking and left me sprinting almost constantly. The environments are attractive but felt claustrophobic and there were times when it felt like the lack of space and bumping into things was making navigation difficult. A little more space in your 'walkways' would smooth things out. You should also try and add a little visual distinction between things you can lift / pull and thing...
