Esse jogo ganhou um lugar especial no meu coração! Os desenvolvedores conseguiram criar uma atmosfera de mistério e fantasia que eu nunca tinha visto, e desde o momento em que vi alguém falar desse jogo pela primeira vez, ele me chamou atenção. As imagens, as músicas e a proposta diferente de jogabilidade me fizeram apreciar o jogo com calma e curiosidade, e foi uma ótima experiência. Se você está pensando em comprar, compre e jogue!
Apesar da minha avaliação inicial ser super positiva, preciso dizer (até mesmo por gostar muito do jogo) que o jogo precisa de melhoras. Vou separar minhas sugestões aqui em "Coisas óbvias", relacionadas a como o jogo está atualmente, e "Sugestões de aprimoramento", relacionadas a alterações e adições de coisas no jogo. Se você ainda não jogou, pare de ler por aqui.

Coisas óbvias:
- Melhorar os comandos de click (às vezes o problema é meu mouse, mas não acho que seja o caso, já que só tive problemas com a resposta ao click nesse jogo). Muitas vezes cliquei e o Sombra não fazia nada.
- Melhorar animação de coleta. O Sombra às vezes se vira para a direção oposta do item que ele vai pegar.
- Adicionar os "Lecture Halls" no mapa principal. Ele está incompleto.
- Consertar bugs. Eu deveria ter uns 3 achievements a mais, mas por alguns bugs eu não consegui. (Disappointing Achievement: consegui 8 decepções, e a conquista não veio. Home Sweet Home: escavei e decorei a casa inteira, chegou a passar 20s a cada 1s, e nada da conquista. Mushroom Gardener: colhi e plantei vários cogumelos fora da casa, e dentro dela nunca chegou a crescer um cogumelo para coletar, mesmo depois de 20 dias)

Sugestões de aprimoramento:
- Ampliar e detalhar mais os cenários. A arte do jogo é única e bonita sim, mas não ao ponto de compensar a lentidão do personagem.
- Adicionar mais monólogos. Isso faria as caminhadas do sombra serem menos maçantes.
- Adicionar um mapa que o próprio sombra possa desenhar, com papel e carvão, para checar quando precisássemos. A quantidade de carvão seria algo a se definir. Talvez 10 carvões para o mapa todo? Seria interessante ele poder desenhar o mapa aos poucos.
- Adicionar algum artifício alcançável após algumas horas de jogo para o sombra poder andar um pouco mais rápido, ou seja, não seria algo disponível no início. Talvez algum objeto que desse mais energia e que ele pudesse carregar consigo, ou algum cogumelo que ele ingerisse, que desse mais velocidade de forma permanente...mas reforço, para deixá-lo MENOS LENTO. Não acho que isso vá contra os princípios do jogo, visto que só seria uma mecânica disponível depois de um tempo de exploração, e também porque é natural que as pessoas zerem o jogo num tempo de 1 semana há 1 mês, através de mecânicas de aceleração de tempo do próprio jogo.
- Adicionar lore. Não sabemos nada sobre a origem do subterrâneo. Os halls que contem papéis e livros (Lecture halls), a biblioteca e a torre secreta seriam lugares muito interessantes para conter informações sobre o rei ou reino.
- Adicionar escrituras e quadros em alguns halls seria animador. Não precisam necessariamente ser lore.
- Alterar a exigência da última pergunta a ser feita para a face: 7 disappointments. Visto que as decepções iniciais são "consumidas" na pergunta anterior, conseguir 7 delas é muito difícil, pois você só conseguirá mais decepções depois de esperar mais de 200 dias, já que você deve esperar a aranha morrer para poder plantar cogumelos pelo mapa, para esperar cogumelos gigantes crescerem, e acessar lugares inacessíveis, para assim descobrir que não há nada lá além de becos sem saída. Também sugiro diminuir a quantidade de carvões necessária para a face responder a outra pergunta. 100 carvões é muita coisa, considerando que você deve ficar andando muito lentamente por cenários que você certamente já conhece. A não ser que o que seja alterado seja a quantidade de carvões que conseguimos ao minerar na mina de carvão, de 5 para 10. Assim a exigência passa a ser viável.
- Introduzir a possibilidade de registrar saves. Seria maravilhoso poder conseguir chegar a todos os finais!
- Adicionar piolhos. O sombra gosta tanto deles e nunca vimos um. Além disso, ele não teria apenas sua única amiga aranha!
- Adicionar um ou mais cômodos que tenham alguma função. Seria legal algum cômodo em que o Sombra pudesse fazer algo para passar o tempo
- Por fim, essa sugestão não é tão relevante, muito menos necessária, mas já que estou aqui...adicionar cenas com diálogo no "final bom"

Acho que é isso! Ficaria feliz em jogar de novo com essas mudanças.

This game has earned a special place in my heart! The developers managed to create an atmosphere of mystery and fantasy that I had never seen before, and from the moment I first heard someone talking about this game, it caught my attention. The images, the music and the different gameplay proposal made me enjoy the game calmly and curiously, and it was a great experience. If you are thinking about buying it, buy it and play it!

Although my initial evaluation is super positive, I have to say (even because I really like the game) that the game needs improvements. I will separate my suggestions here into "Obvious things", related to how the game is currently, and "Suggestions for improvement", related to changes and additions to the game. If you haven't played it yet, stop reading here.

Obvious things:
- Improve the click commands. Many times I clicked and Shade didn't do anything.
- Improve the collection animation. Shade sometimes turns to the opposite direction of the item he is going to pick up.
- Add the "Lecture Halls" to the main map. It is incomplete.
- Fix bugs. I should have had about 3 more achievements, but due to some bugs I don't have them (Disappointing Achievement, Home Sweet Home, Mushroom Gardener)

Improvement suggestions:
- Expand and detail the scenarios more. The game's art is unique and beautiful, yes, but not enough to make up for the character's slowness.
- Add more monologues. This would make Sombra's walks less boring.
- Add a map that Shade himself can draw, with paper and charcoal.
- Add some artifice that can be achieved after a few hours of play so that Shadow can walk a little faster. Maybe some object that gives him more energy and that he can carry with him, or some mushroom that he eats, that gives him more speed permanently. I don't think this goes against the principles of the game, since it would only be a mechanic available after a while of exploration, and also because it is natural for people to finish the game in a time of 1 week to 1 month, through the game's own time acceleration mechanics.
- Add lore. We don't know anything about the origin of the underground. The Lecture halls, the library and the secret tower would be very interesting places to contain information about the king or kingdom.
- Adding writings and paintings in some halls would be exciting.
- Change the requirement of the last question to be asked for the face: 7 disappointments. Since the initial disappointments are "consumed" in the previous question, getting 7 of them is very difficult, I also suggest reducing the amount of coal required for the face to answer another question, unless what is changed is the amount of coal we get when mining in the coal mine, from 5 to 10.
- Introduce the possibility of recording saves. It would be wonderful to be able to reach all the endings!
- Add louse. Shade likes them so much and we have never seen one. Also, he wouldn't just have his one spider friend!
- Add one or more rooms that have some function. It would be nice to have a room where Sombra could do something to pass the time
- Finally, this suggestion isn't that relevant, much less necessary, but since I'm here... add scenes with dialogue in the "good ending"

I think that's it! I'd be happy to play again with these changes.

A clever idea doesn't make up for the fact that the game has very little gameplay and the puzzles aren't particularly interesting. Waiting isn't fun in and of itself and that's mostly all you will do in this game. That you can often do something else while waiting doesn't make the waiting itself more interesting.

How could I not give it a thumbs up? This is a (good) piece of art in video game form.

GOOD GAME BUT BORING

I've never seen another game like this. The art is cool, and the music is nice. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out over the next year.

The Longing was chill when I was trying not to scroll on my phone. You explore and find items and wait. I liked decorating home-base and wish i spent more time exploring before...

We crave what we will never have, we long for what will never be and we will live with longing until there is nothing left to long.

I enjoyed the concept of the game. It was slow paced but in a good way, it made you value each step along the journey and each small achievement. As well as giving a sense of existentialism that is very unique, but really the ending I chose just didn't give me the satisfaction I was expecting from the game but did fit it's themes. Overall, if you want a simple game that teaches you to value the small things I recommend this game. If you want something to truly make you visit the depths of what it means to long something then play The Longing.
