my god what the ♥♥♥♥ happened here. I dont think I've seen worse servers in any game ever. Used to play this around a decade-ish ago, was a ton of fun. Yknow, before Ubisoft got their hands on it. It really hurts to see the game run into the ground like this, overrun by bots and whatnot.

TLDR don't waste your time with this, half of it will be spent trying to connect.

Been playing this game since 2014, and decided to hop back in this month. Frankly, it’s just gone downhill. The servers are a joke now. There’s casinos everywhere (just check TikTok lives of illegal Growtopians), and way too many bots auto-farming like crazy. At least the spam problem is kinda handled.

When the player count hits 80k+, the game turns into an unplayable lag fest. That’s why all my friends ditched it. No one with a job or a life can deal with lag like this. Imo, Growtopia had some solid potential, pls Devs just fix your servers asap :)
