The game wont start in windows 10

Is that some kind of record?

I can't get this one to launch properly, I've tried Compatibility Mode(Windows Vista), changed the prefs from window0 to window1 and turned off the Steam Overlay. It shows the game running but nothing appears and then it closes the game(Not showing that it's running). Before I did get the game to lauch but it gave me a small white screen and I could hear the Main Menu music. I am using an AMD build on Windows 10 and had the white screen with the first game. Any help would be appreciated....

I deleted the pref file, re dl'ed it but before launching the game I opened the file and then exited. THEN I ran the game what the ♥♥♥♥ It just....ran. Worth noting is that I changed compatibility mode to windows vista on the main EXE. Then deleted the old pref re-dl'ed and opened it, then closed it and ran the game weird...

Is anyone even looking at this forum?
