It's already dead?

The body are rotten to skull. no one care about the meat and everyone are starving but no one care to butcher the fellow dead people or the sea gull. they walking pass them even their food are running low because no one care to get the meat there is no work left except 5 land plot with tree and they only care those tree what..why? Hey, I really like playing this game although it's very buggy. Sometimes I find out that those "bugs" are features. :D Many funcitonalities are described in the beginner's guide. but some information are missing and I can't figure out how to make things work, e.g. the fields. When they are newly built they work fine: everything grows and can be harvested. but after some time, the farmers stop working on the fields and that's because of the issue that the plants don't grow anymore. Hey dear Devs! I enjoyed your game for about 70h (feb 2022) or so but I never lost the feelig it might be unfinished? When I went to the steam shopsite I saw a video of it, looking much better than my version of the game saying "trial version" - tentacles in my game look more clunky, like squared, building on land seems broken etc. I think I read somewhere my version was 1.something6f - Any clues on how I can get the latest update?
