An interesting game with a fascinating story. But there are downsides - these are blind NPCs who don't care what's going on around them, you can at least dance in front of them and then just as easily hide under the bushes (like yo buddy, you can go through, I didn't see anything lol). The game is quite boring and monotonous in places, I literally played for 30 minutes a day, for me this is an alarming sign. The rats in this game are quite stupid, not aggressive, they mainly serve as an obstacle on the road. The atmosphere in the game changes very quickly, a beautiful landscape suddenly turns into a mountain of rotten corpses and it looks creepy. Sometimes there are good dialogues in the game, beautiful landscapes for screenshots, in general, the game with a discount is worth its money. I hope to pass the second part someday, but so far there is no special desire. I give it 7/10 <3

At times, the character's movements didn’t feel as responsive as I hoped, and I found myself fighting with the controls a bit. There were moments when I would try to move the character in a particular direction, but it didn’t quite respond as expected, which slowed things down and felt a little clunky.

The combat sections were also a bit challenging, especially since a single hit from an enemy often leads to instant death. This can make certain parts feel really frustrating, especially when trying to get through tight situations without making a mistake. It’s tough but in a way that feels punishing rather than rewarding at times. However, once you get past those parts, the tension and excitement of the stealth mechanics and environmental puzzles shine through.

Despite these minor annoyances, the overall experience is still fantastic. The bond between the two main characters is touching, and the story is filled with emotional moments that hit hard. The soundtrack and voice acting further elevate the experience, adding depth to the already rich narrative.

If you enjoy story-driven games with incredible visuals, a compelling story, and the challenge of navigating a harsh world, Plague Tale: Innocence is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared for a bit of trial and error in some of the more intense parts.

Unbelievably cool game with a lot of beautiful scenery and characters. The voice acting is great as well, it's just awesome. Very intense though! You have to think fast and move fast to avoid getting caught and getting Amicia killed. It's really awesome though. Game of Thrones meets Walking Dead.

Graphically one of the most pleasing games i’ve ever played, as i was constantly telling myself ‘holy this game looks amazing’. Not the most difficult game although it has its parts. Has a great storyline and i actually found myself invested in the characters as well. Only gripes i have are a little minor, it is a tad long, and i didn’t find movement with a mouse to be that optimal. Overall great game and would highly recommend, can’t wait to get to playing the second one.

I want to like this game. I really do. The graphics and story were great. The characters were well written (sure some could be annoying but they’re kids, that happens). Hugo is adorable, the rats were certainly a good environmental hazard and gameplay element.

However, towards the end of the game, it feels like you are fighting the controls just as much as the enemies. The final chapter was by far the worst in the entire game and nearly made me uninstall. Unfortunately, it ruined the rest of the game for me.
