Avoid the '♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Servers', the communities involved with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers are obnoxiously full of toxic people where favouritism reigns supreme. You'll get harassed by emotionally-stunted weirdos and losers then kicked/banned or muted if you talk smack back to the people who are harassing you.

Other reviews mention the same toxicity problem so I will resonate the same feelings on the matter. I got dogpiled by extremely, frustratingly ignorant people on one of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers and the mods ignored and enabled the toxic behavior. As soon as I started defending myself or explaining myself I'd get further harassed and the mods who were online at the time? Let it happen.

If you are of sane mind. If you hate toxic people. If you hate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who live to take pleasure in making others miserable. If you hate irritatingly, over-dramatic people? You should avoid this game as strongly as you should avoid LoL or Dota. It didn't even take me a week to start despising almost every single person in one of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers because of how irrational and emotionally crippled they were. If you're an Outsider, you will be treated as such by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers' community.

The game itself? It's barely 'Improved' since 2018. It will be early access for another 20 years, the communities' toxicity ain't going nowhere. The community itself is what will drag this game into the abyss of no return except for a niche group of people, that I can tell. I've moderated and been an admin in enough games and servers to know unhealthy communities from healthy ones, this place is a ♥♥♥♥ hole.

velos r so op there terrible unplayable map glitches cant eat food off for it says its not there hella crashes if u lose your dino and all the slow progress hop you was recording your screen if not you can kiss that 4 hour grind goodbye game has been out since 2018 and yet they cant fix any of the water glitches so u just dehydrate n die or the face velos kill everything bc nothing can protect itself from its hits no rex stomp head hit nothing game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buggy i see why the community coming back and dropping like flies bc nobody actually cares to spend a full day on so9mething and actually fix the damn game 2018 its 2025 and the game is still at baby steps holy ♥♥♥♥ yall blowing the money on something and it aint the game what a joke game needs to be 5$ instead of 20 doesnt even have good turning movements on this ♥♥♥♥ get it together

I love the optimization of the game and the overall gameplay is amazing. The only issue that I've seen comes with all PVP survival games. That is the no talents that have to mixpack and look for a way to make up their lack of skill to gain the upper hand. If you play in a server with a player by the name of DackJaniels just know he is the most obvious of the no talents. In all the game is awesome but like any other it has it's trash to be taken out.

Years ago this game was boring. Nothing to do, no grouping, random spawned meat and endless afk'ing. Today.. It is now a fantastic dino survival game centered around progression through death. Unlike games in its category, creature growth never ends and the progress you make, rolls RNG chances to enhance your skill tree with extra points for the next life. This system is fantastic. Grow, fight, die, become stronger.

Moment to moment-
New born to Adult is measured from 0.00-1.3 growth. About 1-2 hours. After adulthood, grow is endless. The larger you grow, the more resources you need and to keep the stomach fed. There is plenty to eat, players to hunt, abilities to gain, stats to improve, journey's to find. There is hourly events that require traveling to a specific area to gain buffs. Could be Growth boosts or even "deaths blessing" (where IF you die, you loose nothing) and many more. They pop up randomly and players/groups can occupy them. The character roster is pretty large. Not as big as the Isle or Path of Titans, however each dino fits well into the ecosystem and with the grouping tools. You can post groups and other players can join you as the same species. There is the usual, well known species, and AN ANCIENT SEA TURTLE and SNAKE. Two, very cool additions to play around with. All dinos feel viable in combat as well. I was a turtle and took down 2 adult Mosa whales. I have also died under the same circumstances. Groups can be lethal, no matter the species. And that really sets this game apart. You could find yourself making a "perfect organism".

The maps-
They are massive and detailed. Lots of little hiding holes on land and water. Large biomes in the ocean and deep forests on land. The ocean is crazy large on IslaTitania map. It takes almost an hour to go around it, and that doesn't include exploring the rivers, lakes, ponds, tunnels, and coral reefs that make up the center. That is just one of the maps.

Should you buy it?
I would say, if you want a dino game or played Isle or PoT previously. This is a different way to play a dino survival game. Interesting game mechanics, cool character roster, and impactful progression that makes growing important, interesting variety of play styles and respects the players time.

enjoyable, play as a dino game in a survival setting where other players wanna kill you too and I don't just mean the carnivores. if you find a nice server and other dinos to play with it can be a good time. dieing so easily and regrowing for hours on end,.... not so much. stay hidden, get green shrines, grow and meet some fun people along the way. :)

UNPLAYABLE.... until they make it so velos cant sit on your tail and kill pretty much any animal 1v1. Game is absolutely worse since they decided to update the most annoying animal in the game. i enjoyed the game and played it so much, was annoyed by velos but absolutely wont play again or reccomend it to anyone till they fix that aspect of the game. game has good potential tho.

Wanna play for 1k+ hours and get server banned for admins making up their own rules on the spot? this is the game for you :)
