I'm crunching through Wessex's towns with catapults now, and it occurs to me that the different walls stand up to catapults differently. The timber topped wall is easiest to breach, stone walls a bit harder, but the earth-banked palisade can stand until you run out of ammunition. I already knew that fire arrows were useless against stone towers, but I hadn't realised the walls made much difference, but there is no way of telling what flavour of defences you will be up against until you hit the attack butto...

Hello, I am curious why my laptop has started showing symptoms of lag / stutter when playing TWS:ToB. This did not happen but has recently started with this problem. Has anyone else experienced the same, any likely reasons, and has a solution been found? Any tech types out there that can maybe assist (point out the obvious)? Yes it's different. I see similarities from a number of different TW games. So what ? Variety is good, ja ? I know that LOTW craps all over it, whereas Lionheart does some great streams showcasing the game. Seems fine to me, maybe with more politics than I enjoy but it is what it is ? Hey all, I'm trying to get someone to help me make a little tweak of a mod that extends the characters lifespans a bit. I've had way too many characters die of "old age" from like 45-64 which is really frustrating because it's very premature (even somewhat for the period with a significant number of people living into their late 60s and 70s such as Charlemagne, Louis the Pious, Louis the German, Constantine II, Malcolm II, Offa, Egbert, Ethelwulf, Edward the Confessor etc) and I can barely upgrade them til...
