Some suggestions after playing demo

1) Don't ask players to look at their steps if they don't see their foots: First-person view is a bad idea if you want players step on the right place. Some games enhance jumping mechanics by introducing a climbing ability when nearing the edge, thus allowing for smoother transitions and make jumping less punish. ==> My suggestion: If you can't change the game to Third-person view, then try enhance the jumping mechanics. 2) Less punishment in shooting: When you play a shooting game without aiming feature,...

Playtest registration is open!

A large open playtest is planned for November.

Right now we are conducting a series of closed playtests to identify bugs and polish the demo.

We will ask you to send a recording of the game or play with a screen demonstration in Discord.

What will be in the new demo?
1. Significantly improved player controller, fire and reload animations
2. The game has become more dynamic, a style assessment system has been added, it gives boost in shooting speed and movement

So... demo thoughts

There were some mechanics that seemed somewhat unique to the rogue-lite FPS subgenre (like the destructible environments), but there was a LOT of jank in the demo. Multiple times, I ended up on un-finishable levels. The portals wouldn't activate, but there were no enemies left, etc. I imagine those bugs will be fixed, but down the road, what will really set this apart from more polished similar games, like Roboquest?...

Mouse aiming [bug]

Trying out the demo, and the mouse aiming keeps moving up, this happens in the tutorial as well as the normal gameplay.

Some thoughts

I qute like the demo, especially the physic interaction even when I see the game still need quite some time in the oven. Got a lot of stuttering and even crash when magnetizing some towers. I trust devs know what features people generally expect from games nowadays. However as a roguelites this is very easy compared to the genre standard, it is very important for a roguelite to be sufficiently hard.
