About the "Demo"

I just wanted to say that the game is going to change a lot before the next demo.

There will be more things to punch, grab, and throw...
There will be less permanent abilities and menu stuff
because items in the menu will take different forms.
The map will be more metroidvania, and less sandbox.

That said, I hope you enjoy this beta for what it is. Try grabbing many things. Be sure to find the dash button, press down to roll, and don't miss the dungeon to the left. (It's like half the 'demo'!)

...and sorry for all the bugs!

Is the game still being worked on?

Just wondering if the game is still being developed, I heard that the dev is working on another game about a magnet character or something like that but haven't heard anything about Homegrove. It would be pretty sad if the game got dropped in favor of that other game (not saying that I don't like it, looks fun too) but I was really interested on playing Homegrove, I played the first game and liked it a lot. Hope dev can answer....

Happy new years!

New years resolution: Get this demo out as soon as possible.

Holidays have been kinda rough. I'm still getting over an infection/illness, but I really hope to release a new public demo before the end of the month. Wish me luck, thanks for readin, bye bye :)

Hello!

Sorry for the delay!!

Good news: Made a lot of progress on the much needed demo boss lately. Still have a little bit of dungeon design to go over, some sound effects and music to do as well, and general bug fixing.

It's easy to tunnel focus on the game and forget to do updates such as this.
I'll post the next update sooner (like in 2 weeks instead of 2 months), pinky swear!

Couldn't help but notice no news has sprang up about this game ever since I added the game to my wish list. Is it safe to say the game's not going to release?

October 1st?

The Steam Store page still lists October 1st, 2019 as release date but I haven't been hearing anything about the impending release. Are we going to get a nice surprise in two weeks or is it time to adjust the release date again?
