In this patch we have added and modified the following contents:

Patch 0.3.1: New Passives and Alternate Spells!

Patch 0.3.1 drops with brand new Alternate spells and mage specific passives!
Annihilate your opponents with these new perks!

Patch 0.3.1
- Added new mage specific passives
- Fire Mage: Decimate your challenger with larger fireballs when the divide spell is used.
- Air Mage: Blow your opponent away with a faster charge on your bolt spell!
- Earth Mage: Gain more mana with every other projectile gaining double mana!
- Ice Mage: Control the battle with an enhanced slow spell!

- Added new alternate spells
- Players will unlock alternates by achieving multiple victories in any game mode.
- Divide Alternate: The divide spell will split up and down instead of side to side.
- Familiar Alternate: Rynn attacks slower but his projectiles will give you one additional mana!
- Ward Alternate: Put down a placeable ward as a static object, however, players will still not be able to recast unless it is destroyed!
- Bolt Alternate: Generate a second projectile on cast to overwhelm the enemy!
- Slow Alternate: Slow projectile speeds even further with a longer lasting slow!

Rynn plushie race has begun!
- The first player to achieve 5000 online victories will win our one of a kind Rynn plushie!
- Players will be able to track their victories via built in achievements!
- The first player to win 5000 online matches must send a screenshot of their steam profile with the achievement to [email protected].

Ever feel that urge to bombard your opponent with fireballs? Well now you can!
[Update 0.3.1] will bring spell load outs, spell progression, and alternate spells!

Spell load-outs and spell progression have always been on our minds since we released. With the addition of alternate spells, players will be able to change their play style on how they want to time their spells. Alternate spells grant players one 'alternate' variation of our default five spells bolt, divide, familiar, ward, and slow. These spells can be unlocked after achieving a certain amount of single player and multiplayer victories.

Like mage passives, alternate spells expand the realm of how players want to execute their strategies. These additional spells have both positive and negative aspects which means players will need to find a way to use them efficiently and take advantage of certain situations. Alternate spells and their effects are listed as the following:


Divide Alternate: "Vertical Divide" Divide spell splits up and down instead of side to side. Use this to hurtle vertical ricocheting projectiles to your opponent!

Familiar Alternate: Rynn will attack slower but his projectiles will grant you one additional mana! Use this as an advantage to cast more spells!

Ward Alternate: Put down a place-able ward to act as a static shield! However, you will not be able to cast another until it is destroyed!

Bolt: "Bolt Barrage" generate a second projectile to pincer your enemy! This version of bolt takes longer to charge and is slightly slower, make sure to use it well!

We aim for more engaging game play for our new and veteran players! These spells will be available for everyone to unlock in our upcoming patch. Simply win any mode in single player and these destructive spells are yours to keep forever. See you in the arenas!

Mages, would you like to win our special Rynn plushie? It's super duper cute! We're hosting a special event in which the first player to reach 5,000 online PVP victories will receive our exclusive Rynn plushie!

Rynn is your friendly wyvern companion that will always be by your side. Whether it's dueling another mage, fighting a mythical creature, or just relaxing in your study, Rynn will always keep a close eye on you!

In order to track these victories, we will be adding Steam achievements and victory counters in our upcoming July 6th Patch. Mages, take the battle to the next level with new passive abilities. Patch 0.3.1 introduces our new mage passive abilities, each mage now has a special variation of one our combat spells. Use these new abilities to outsmart and take down your opponents!

As we move closer to our full release patch, we want to give our new and returning players a more exciting way to play the game. Mage passives allow players to strategically use their abilities to turn the tide of a battle. Each mage is currently assigned one passive ability. Mage passives are automatically activated when the player casts one of the combat spells! Each of the mage's passives correlate with their elements, so make sure you remember what your passive is!

Mage Specific Passives are listed as the following, make sure to take advantage of them in combat!

Fire Mage: Create massive fireballs when the divide spell is used, use this when your opponent is out of position!

Air Mage: Blow your opponent away with a faster charge on your bolt spell!

Earth Mage: Overwhelm your opponent with spells as every other auto attack grants you one additional mana!

Ice Mage: Control the speed of the battle with an enhanced slow spell! Use this to counter fast flying projectiles!

Mage passives will be available to all players when patch [0.3.1] releases very soon! As we move closer to our full release, be sure to watch out for more game changing updates. See you on the battlefield!

Patch 0.3.0: A New way to play Multiplayer

Patch 0.3.0 has arrived and brings our new multiplayer matchmaking system!

Patch notes can be seen below

0.3.0
- Added new multiplayer matchmaking system
- Players will be able to host multiplayer sessions while playing single player game modes
- Once another player joins the lobby, player will be prompted that their opponent has connected via in game message
- Players waiting in the lobby will be able to spectate the other player in a single player match.
- Both players will be moved to the multiplayer ready room when the match has ended.
- Added three new lobby animations for Rynn!

- Miscellaneous small bug fixes.

Experience multiplayer in a new way as Patch 0.3.0 brings us a new way to play multiplayer!

Before our full release update 'Patch 1.0' we would like to make some changes to the current multiplayer matchmaking system to give players a higher chance to find an opponent. After listening to your feedback, we have implemented a new system. This system allows players to host multiplayer lobbies while playing in all single player modes! Once the servers have found you an opponent, your opponent will be able to spectate while you finish your single player match. Once the match has finished, you and your opponent will be transferred to the multiplayer ready menu.

Our new system will make hosting multiplayer more enjoyable for players! Players will no longer be restricted to free practice while hosting. This small update will allow players to hone their skills while awaiting their challengers! We hope players will enjoy our new multiplayer coming in our small update very very soon!

Challenge your opponents while looking at the serene view of a beach, crystal blue waters, and majestic rock formations! Sounds too good to be true doesn't it? Enjoy the scenery of 'The Cove' while annihilating your friends in our upcoming update Patch 1.0!

Welcome to 'The Cove!' another map that will be available to all players in our upcoming full release update! Once again located in the same region as the legendary 'Squizzard', the Cove arena is constructed in honor of the legendary wizard that took down the creature. A large gate door on the right of the arena serves as an entrance for mages all over the world to teleport to this location. This map was inspired by tropical environments while referencing many fantasy realms. We hope players will enjoy our map selection in our full release update!

Although the environment is soothing, mages do not be deceived! The short distance between each player will make it harder to dodge spells. Magical barriers cast on the sides of the arena means all projectiles will ricochet vertically and horizontally! Use the rock formations in the water to bounce spells to outsmart your opponent! Lastly, don't fall into the water!

We hope player s will enjoy this map's layout and its surrounding environment! 'The Cove' will be another map available to all players in our full release update 'Patch 1.0' coming soon!

Step into the heart of the dragon's realm as you and your fellow wizards challenge each other in this floating arena! "The Dragon's Eye" is another new map in our upcoming update 'Update 1.0!'

Upcoming update 'Patch 1.0' is going to be our full release out of early access! 'The Dragon's Eye' is another new environment that all players will be able to play on. 'The Dragon's Eye' is located in the same region as the legendary dragon 'Amphiptere!' Legend tells that this creature roams this realm looking for a worthy challenger, very few mages have ever return to tell the tale. Inspired by the many ruins in Greece and the countless floating realms, we hope that players will them selves immersed in the beautiful architecture!
