Flatspace IIk is a top-down space trading game with the emphasis on free exploration. In Flatspace, you choose your profession and are given a small spaceship with a scattering of random weapons, then you are free to earn a living, explore, hunt, trade, grow; upgrading your ship and equipment.

Do any of the old fan fiction stories still exist?

Recently been playing a bit of Flatspace again on steam, and I distinctly remember there used to be a website with what I assume were fan stories based in the Flatspace universe which I really enjoyed reading when I was younger. I was hoping i'd be able to relive some nostalgia and track them down to read again. I've searched around google and can't find anything, did anyone save them for posterity? Radioactive Expansion Pack Released

The Radioactive Expansion Pack has been released. The 1970s-themed pack enhances Radioactive with 3 new maps: EUROZONE, CUBAN CRISIS, and LUNAR CONQUEST; and 3 new colour schemes: 1970S PLOTTER (a white-on-black scheme), plus GREENSCREEN and AMBER to emulate old computer monitors.

I've just recovered my old Flatspace II (plus extended soundtrack) installation from a forgotten directory on my backup drive, but it immediately quits to desktop when run. I know this is the Steam version board, but I'm not sure where else to ask about this situation. Any suggestions?...
