Tiny Thor starts out fairly innocent as a 16-bit era jump and run so basic and simple your kids could play it as their first gamepad experience. Difficulty, however, ramps up steadily until it's on par with Meatboy & Cuphead. So caveat ludor, if hardcore J'n'R aren't your thing, the game's 2nd half will crush you.
Should you struggle, all kinds of special assistances are a click away in the options menu. (Even then some parts will still be very difficult)

In terms of programming and design, Tiny Thor is flawless. However, the soundtrack especially is first class. No wonder, given they hired Chris Hülsbeck, a rare maestro of game music.
