i thought kids arent supposed to be using vr??? psvr said 13 and up???

Aside from controller issues, I've had a difficult time getting this program to run at all inside the Oculus Rift. Most of the times I've tried to run it (launching from SteamVR), a black window opens up on the desktop on my main display, but nothing ever comes up on the Rift. I have to kill the process to exit the program. The few times I've managed to actually view the program in the Rift were after a system restart. It appears that once it runs once "successfully" I can't get it to run again until I do...

I picked this up for the kids since it claimed to have Rift support- however SteamVR repeatedly announces that the game requires motion controllers (which the Rift doesn't include). Once in-game, I've found that I can't really do anything. I somehow managed to load one of the scenes (I think using the mouse?) but once in the scene I wasn't able to do anything other than look around. (No interactivity, no movement.)
