The Responsibility Update

It’s difficult to say what responsibility means exactly. There’s just... so much to it. Raising the orphaned child of your nemesis... remembering to vote... or even brushing your teeth. Responsibility is most certainly a thing.

What we can say is that upon investigation we found that responsibility levels among our Accounting+ “friends” are at a record low. We here at Crows Crows Crows think that's probably a bad thing and we are disappointed that our “community” does not reflect the responsible values we totally embody, like, 100% of the time.

So we're giving all of you a plant to take care of.

This plant is special. I mean sure– It grows, absorbs nutrients and photosynthesises like a regular plant, but this one does it in REAL TIME across ALL COPIES of Accounting+.

If you open Accounting+ and go to Clovis’ Level Loader you will find our plant and a watering can. We expect all players across every platform to work together to keep our botanical baby healthy and safe while we take our annual winter break.

To communicate and coordinate with your fellow plant guardians please head on down on in on over to the Crows Crows Crows Community Discord[discord.gg]. We hope that by nurturing this plant together you can all learn what responsibility truly means. As long as one of you doesn't forget to water the plant daily we should be okay.

We want to further honour this momentous occasion with a SPECIAL SALE for Accounting+.

Now, the thing about this sale is that it only lasts for a very specific amount of time. Once it ends the game goes back to FULL PRICE (what a rip-off). A Tale of Two Announcements! 🍎🍊

These are the best of times, these are the worst of times,
it is the age of wisdom, it is the age of foolishness,
it is the spring of hope, it is the winter of despair,
it is the season of the apple... it is the age of the orange.

That’s right! You all guessed it months ago! Accounting+ is coming to HTC Vive and Oculus Rift very soon with ANOTHER big free update for all platforms. Take a bite out of that!

Over the past few years we have been updating Accounting, filling it with more and more of the madness that comes from the minds of Crows Crows Crows and Squanch Games. This release will be the biggest yet - Accounting+ on SteamVR will be three times the size of the original!

Have you got non-English-speaking friends that you have been just dying to introduce to Accounting+? Well NOW - so long as they speak German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese or Korean - this is NO LONGER A PROBLEM thanks to our new, multi-language SUBTITLE SYSTEM!

KEEP IT DOWN!

We can very quietly announce that Crows Crows Crows is coming back to Steam! We’ve got a whole coffin full of PC games ready to release this instant- from small PC experiments gone wrong, to our very own Half Life 2: Episode Thr-

SHHHH!!! Don’t say the forbidden phrase!!

Now, before we can release these beauties we need to set a couple of things straight. The last time you saw us on here we’d just released Dr. Langeskov and Accounting. Look at them over there. Waving to us from the past. How little they both knew…

Back in those sepia-snapchat filter days Crows Crows Crows was a smaller collection of dangerous individuals, mostly collaborating remotely via morse code or dropbox. But now we are in the future. Now we have MORE PEOPLE. We have a GOOGLE DRIVE. We have AN OFFICE.

And in this office…

IS A HATCH.

A voice behind us tells us what to do. We listen to the voice and we feed the creature as much as is needed. We should be happy it's there for us. And look, here it goes, giving us a new direction...

Hatch Creature, please leave my sleep undisturbed tonight. We promise we’re going to stop messing around with apps like EAT, itch.io games like The Temple of No and PS VR games like Accounting+. Steam is the future!! We swear!! We’re going back to the future!! Please!! Please!! We'll even bring some of our existing games over to Steam if that'll stop you spooking us!!!

We have multiple non-VR titles in the works. It is important you know that so I am telling you now in no uncertain terms. APART FROM ACCOUNTING+ VR is dead. Heard it here fifth! It’s gone. It is outta here.
