Mutated Conditions - Challenge Mode DLC

Greetings, Directors!

In our Challenge Mode DLC there’s no time to relax, no cozy little save rooms, no meditative gazes into the void, and certainly no time for fiddling about - you’ll be too busy wrangling burdensome Mutated Conditions.

The common patient will visit your hospitals with one illness or another, each with their own needs. However, the true challenge will be in how quickly you adapt when these conditions abruptly mutate!

Mutated Conditions are eruptions of sudden, more dangerous variations of conditions you’re already familiar with. They’ll require research in order to properly resolve – a perfect task for any excess staff you forgot to fire. Stuff them into the Research Lab and get that ultracomputer whirring!

Patients afflicted by one of these mutations are much more likely to drop dead, and their health will deteriorate far faster than usual. Keep an eye on them and do what you can – lest the rozzers get alarmed by Medi’s “disposal” protocols and shut down the hospital.

However, if you keep on top of your research, and make sure only a necessary number of patients expire, we'll all be fine. Best of luck!

Some Issues

I´m really enjoying the game, it has a good personality and good humor, the space setting it´s being fully taking advantage. That being said, there´s some issues that I feel need adressing: - On mission 6 you can fire staff, but they won´t go. On another maps I had the same problem, but exiting the map and comming back generally fix it. Same as for patients that get stuck. However on this map, the doctors never leave. I have 3 of them just roaming around and getting into threatment rooms if any gets e...

consultants have quest named eureka but i'm not sure where can i earn eureka is it only from research? any limit like at least 3 or more disease research? is it just rare but no limit?

Too easy or too hard..

I find that the sandbox is way too easy compared to 2PH - to the point that I just lose interest because there's zero challenge. But challenge mode is much much harder and is rendered borderline impossible by the fact that you can't send a patient home so I feel like I have zero control. Is it just me that would much rather have something in between in terms of the level of difficulty?...

Patient Overload - Challenge Mode DLC

Greetings, Directors!

In our recently-released Challenge Mode DLC, one of the many delights that await you is our patented Patient Overload – a system hand-built to test your staff and hospital to their frazzled limits.

Over time, a swarm of inconsiderate, disruptive patients will traipse into your hospital demanding immediate care, and requiring you use your hard-earned space money on more treatment facilities.

Every patient needs your personal attention for their survival, but these particular patients will arrive with a wider range of initial health. Be quick as every condition now kills patients faster than it did previously. Leave them too long and you'll pay hefty fines.

Having qualified staff and experts in your employ may help, but it’s vital to the success of your hospital that they’re the best of the best. Get them researching ASAP or risk your patients’ doom! Or worse, the authorities will shut the hospital down, and everyone’ll end up going to jail.
