Hey baseball fans!

We improved the simulation module for some playoff projections for the MLB Network, and we figured we'd release this to the public in a little patch that also includes some tweaks and bugfixes. The final version number is now 18.8.76.

Here is the changelist compared to version 18.7.74:
- Improved sim module with more options for simming playoff series
- Fixed issue with importing rosters and having "do not allow AI moves" flag set
- Fixed last year ticket price display issue
- Fixed not respecting number of draft rounds
- Fixed crash if game minimized while bullpen dialog open
- Fixed issue with setting no cap on amateur FA
- Fixed issue with placing minor league players on the major league 60-day DL
- Players may now be sent to rehab assignment before the minor league seasons have begun
- Added team and MLB totals to player batting and pitching stats pages
- Fixed expansion draft scheduling for historical games to not conflict with rookie draft
- Fixed issue with resetting beard frequency
- Fielding ratings will no longer be reset to a 200 internal value in the player development code if manually edited to values exceeding 200
- Other bug and cosmetic fixes

Update: The new build 18.7.72 is now available! It fixes an error with award icons missing from player profiles in new MLB standard games.

Unfortunately, the last update introduced a few bugs which we could not tolerate, so we have decided to release a hotfix, version 18.7.72. Hopefully this is now the final final patch for OOTP 18. :)

Here is the changelist compared to version 18.7.69:
-Fixed error when generating history reports for some leagues
-Fixed case where a reliever may pinch hit for the wrong team
-Fixed roster violation warning when exporting team in an online league with no age limits
-Fixed players with an extension showing an opt-out in player salaries report
-Fixed display issue for certain batting stats (ie. BABIP and others) in player lists
-Misc other bug fixes

We have worked hard the past few weeks to wrap up development of OOTP 18. The result is the final patch, version number 18.7.69. It contains plenty of bug-fixes and improvements!

Here is the changelist:

- Updated Opening Day roster sets with tweaked player ratings (need to create a new game for changes to apply)
- Improved in-game AI
- Can now drag and set player labels in 3D view with right mouse button
- Updated historical minor league databases
- Added as-played lineups for the 1910-1913 seasons
- Tweaked draft pool age when the reveal date is early in the season
- Tweaked number of college pitchers generated for draft pool, there were too few.
- Updated owner goals and text for leagues with playoffs disabled
- Fixed tiebreaker for default draft order
- Updated select nation dialog for player origins
- Added ability for nations to auto-assign 2nd nationalities. (must re-import world to get default update)
- Added 2nd nationality to player lists
- Fixed various issues with rule 5 eligibility
- Slightly reduced injury frequency during spring training
- Round Robin results now show in history pages
- Updated player pictures to work for tournament teams
- Fixed online league tournament team management
- Adjusted ratio of throwing errors to fielding errors
- Added new option to adjust player service days when adjusting the league minimum service days value
- Many other bug and cosmetic fixes

OK, that's it! Unless there is a major problem with this patch, we'll now take some time off before fully concentrating on OOTP 19 development. We have some exciting things up our sleeves for next year's version, so stay tuned!

Hey folks!

It's summer time, and instead of hanging around on beaches, we still worked hard on the game and have just released an update which adds some neat new stuff, including diving / jumping player animations in 3D mode! The new version number of this update is 18.6.61.

Here is the changelist:
- Improved 3D animations, including adding diving, jumping, and sliding plays in the field
- Updated Opening Day roster sets, including improvements of 2017 draft class and minor league player ratings (need to create a new game for changes to apply)
- Added widget to manage bullpen in-game. Added option to auto-sit relievers before they start tiring while warming up
- Updated in-game PBP elements, including better lining up detailed PBP with 3D action
- Added 1944 Negro league data
- Improved historical minor league database
- Added option to disable infield shifts in the league strategy settings
- Added more playoff scheduling series options
- Added checkbox in-game to filter available players, to better view bench options
- Team schedule screen now supports double-headers
- Fixed bug where team color changes were not saved
- Many other bug and cosmetic fixes

We will release another update later this summer, before we shift our sole attention to OOOTP 19 and that secret exciting new thing we have been working on for a while now. That will be awesome.

We have identified an issue in the previous update (18.5.56) which sometimes caused a crash when playing games out in 3D and a wild pitch occurred. We have fixed the issue and have just released a hotfix patch, version 18.5.57.

Unfortunately, the previous update (18.5.54) introduced several issues related to the DL and also had a problem with 7-day lineups. So, we fixed those and have just released a hotfix patch, version 18.5.56. The hotfix also contains the latest tweaks to the Opening Day rosters, mainly updated minor league player ratings.

We have spent the past few weeks improving the game and fixing reported bugs. Today we have launched the latest OOTP 18 Update, version number 18.5.54. (We released 18.5.53 earlier today, which had a glitch with the challenge moder server, build 54 fixes this.)
