Great game, what I like the most is how Watch Dogs 2 encapsulates early 2010s Silicon Valley tech scene and the internet culture with a satirical/exaggerated twist. Being in SF is a bonus, such a vibrant city.

This is a stark contrast in terms of atmosphere as oppose to the gritty/mysterious Person of Interest inspired Watch Dogs 1, which I also like.

Skybox and shadows flicker like crazy. It is so distracting that it prevents you from enjoying the game. The 3rd party fixes on internet that use Nvidia Profile Inspector and turning on Temporal Filtering only help reduce it at the cost of visual quality but do not completely fix the issue. Seems like this is a long time issue but Ubisoft has been ignoring it. Can not recommend.

This game is so incredible. I am so sorry that Ubisoft betrayed the trust of the players with the first game because this one is so much better and honestly the closest we'll probably get to the perfect Watch Dogs game. From the hacking, to the driving, to the world - this WD2 just never misses. Buuuut this game was made by Ubisoft so there is quite a bit of jank: parkour is frustrating sometimes, detection is unfair (but that's on purpose) and sometimes the npcs are annoyingly robotic. Aside from that, I sank 25 hours into the game without noticing because it's just so addicting! A must buy.

Low playtime, spent a LOT more time on PS4 but I can say this is one of my all-time favorite open-world games out there.
Huge map to explore, beautiful level of detail, interactivity with NPCs (although basic), good graphics, enjoyable side activities and story.
