Quest of Souls

Quest of Souls is a twin-stick fantasy shoot 'em up RPG inspired by the 90's era of SNES games, about a corgi dragonslayer, a goodly lich, a lizardman samurai, and their quest to track down a powerful magical artifact that was stolen by a mysterious dark sorcerer.

Quest of Souls Update - We're working on it!

Hello everybody!

We are still working on Quest of Souls...just slowly. :soloskull:

We've been taking on client work to pay the bills and will be able to dedicate more resources to Quest of Souls in the upcoming months when that finishes up.

Our team will provide more details as soon as we finish Necroball and launch that out of Early Access in Q1 of 2018.

Necroball started off as a mini-game in Quest of Souls and gained a life of its own after showing it at conventions like PAX South. We've learned a lot about mechanics, user experience, and Unity while making Necroball a finished product and we will use all that we've learned to improve Quest of Souls as we pick up the torch again.

Demo Bug Reporting

Hello Everybody! If you find any bugs in the demo please add them to this discussion! A brief description of what the bug is and how you encountered it along with the settings you choose at the launcher would be great. If you have your system specs handy, that would help out a lot, too. We will be pushing a new build soon and will list the bug fixes, what we still know exist as bugs, and what we are working on. Quest of Souls Update 1/17/17

Hello Everybody!

It has been a while, but here is the latest update on how the development of Quest of Souls is going over here at King Crow Studios.

As you all may know, we tried our hand at a Kickstarter to fund the rest of development for Quest of Souls, but didn't meet our goal of $42,000.

Since then, our team has been working on turning the Quest of Souls mini-game, Necroball, into a standalone game that can help us develop Quest of Souls in more ways than one. It has provided a place for us to really fine-tune our multiplayer mechanics, animations, and "game feel" for Quest of Souls and it even exists in the same universe so you can play characters like Brunhilde the Good Lich or Zuzu the Demonologist.

In addition to that, not only does Necroball help us develop QoS technically if you purchase a copy of Necroball the proceeds go toward finishing Necroball AND developing Quest of Souls!

Quest of Souls - New demo in the works!

Hello Everybody!

We wanted to update everyone here about our current progress and focus.

We're in the process of taking the demo feedback and implementing what the level will look and feel like in the actual game. The relaunched demo is estimated to be done in one month and we will keep you posted here and on social media when it is available.

We appreciate all the feedback everyone has sent us here, via email, on social media or youtube, and look forward to using that advice to continue to create a fun and awesome game.

Demo Achievements

How to get the 3 achievements? There's not even 100 enemies to kill. Where is there 4,000 gold to be found? I've hit every table and chair, behind the bar, for gold. When I restart game, it resets everything, so it's pretty much impossible getting these achievements. Maybe I'm missing something here. If the developer can clue me in, that would be cool....

"Gold digger" achievement is way too early triggered

It says collect 600 gold in one run. One run has about 620 gold Probably you get it at 60 gold already.

stuff you guys could add

you guys dont have to but here are some of my opinions 1. first off i dont know how much work it would take but i would like to not only see one computer multiplayer but in the future steam online multiplayer where you can play with people all across the world if your friends with them on steam 2. second off you dont have to and this might sound unreasonable buuuut please please PLEEEEEASE make the game free i mean obviouly you dont have to and this probably wont happen but i would like to see one of the 3...
