2.0 - Revamped imprint-X design

We took some time to look back at imprint-X and the games largest design-flaw, the rhythm-based bosses.
We tweaked the puzzle world design, level theming and refined some of the phasing of the game.
This patch is more true to the core gameplay and the button based puzzles.

All worlds are unlocked directly in order to allow easier puzzle switching and prevent getting stuck.
Banished all world bosses to an alternative playable world, the randomized procedural super-boss is all the rhythm-bosses the game needs.
Added a couple of unreleased never seen levels cleaned up achievements and update the game-engine.

Update Game-engine
Update Unity and 3rd party plugins to latest LTS versions.
We fixed a lot of deprecations and niched rendering bugs with this.
New video player
Switched to a better performing and easier to use video player.
Updated masking shader
Fixed some rendering clipping bugs.
Update line-rendering
Update the new rendering API.
Redesign worlds
13 new worlds with better theming.
Made some unfair levels optional.
Unlocked all worlds
Test the world as you want.
Switched asset and file serialization
meta files everywhere.
Removed mandatory rhythm bosses
Worlds are now about puzzles
Updated in-game social media links
These now points to our current stuff..
Cleaned up legacy objects from all levels
Simplified scenes.
Moved all world bosses to its own separate world
Rhythm hell all in one.
Update Steam SDK
Script performance fixes
Improved lots of old scripts that affected game performance.
Add new level and unrelease levels
Removed buggy achievements
Old world design achievements.
Added new achievements for the new worlds to beat
New steam cloud save file
Cleanup for the new world overview and level layouts and as well as legacy save bug fixes.

Bit - Animation Editor is available!!

We're live right now, making some art, so come join us! =D

Bit is an art tool with powerful export options, used to compose and design animated pixel art! It concentrates on composition design and simpler mechanical animations like tweening/easing. Moreover, we have a Unity importer available for it.

Bit release date - September 4th

Help us translate Vast Void!

Hey!

This week's blog post[morgondag.io] is super long, containing super much stats! We present the results from the poll we ran two weeks ago. We also show you some summarizations of Steam data, done with R, where we look at the 25 countries where RymdResa were played the most in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Want to help us translate Vast Void? Wohow!! We''re starting the first round of translations today (now). We will begin by translating the Diary Pods form RymdResa (which are the same in Vast Void) and take it from there. We have created a public google doc where people can fill in their translations and edit existing ones, you can reach it directly here[docs.google.com]!

We have set up translation sheets for French, German, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese-Brazil, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish - Spain, Swedish (we explain why we've chosen those languages in the blog post[morgondag.io]. If you want to add another language, please let us know! =)

It's hacking time!

Our little terminal game-experiment is now available for free on the site.

We made an experimental little console thing, a custom terminal with some commands and things to figure out, we recommend that you try solving the backdoor command in the lobby. 😎

The game uses some experimental online features so this freebie will only be available for Windows, sorry Mac & Linux beards.
