Will this achievement be forever unachievable to those who ran the tutorial first? Will there be a way to reset progress just to unlock this?

I'm unable to read the text in the options menu, and when I start the game all I can see is a grey square that counts up, and after a few seconds I lose. I'm running Linux Mint 17.1.

I had the high score on the leaderboards of LTG, but then all the sudden when I was on vacation I was accussed of cheating! (To make a long story short, the ex-high score holder commented on my profile that my high score was removed during a new security-update and that I was a dirty cheater.) I bought this game for my mac which has all the requirements met and for about the week since I got it it has never once let me actually play. Its just quit on me -.-
