having finished the game a couple of months back, I wanted to start again - unfortunately to my surprise the image is flickering - as if the backbuffers rendered to are somehow improperly presented in the wrong order. this happens for all render backends (even software), on both my monitors (one is 60Hz and another 144Hz), deleting kexengine.cfg didn't help either. nightdive please fix... this makes the game unplayable and it all worked just fine a couple of months ago...

So, Im basically unkillable when once the conversion thing is turned off on a stage? in lvl1 it was very late, in lvl2 it was pretty late. Im only confused bc in Reactor, its a few rooms from the beginning. Are there now drawbacks from getting killed over and over and being revived? Of course at that point I wouldnt use my health items. Or ammo when I can kill the enemy differently while taking damage....

I lkike these kinds of games but even I feel this is a tad too confusing and very clunky doesn't age well

I love the old 90s aesthetic, any similar shooters? pref with more action?
