At first glance, Secret of Magia feels clunky and unfinished—the UI is awkward, there’s barely any guidance, and I genuinely wanted to quit early on. But I pushed through... and to my surprise, it started to click. Once I got used to the controls and figured out how combat and progression worked, the game actually became pretty enjoyable. Unfortunately, just as I was getting into the groove and feeling like I finally "got it"—boom, final boss. Game over. It’s a real shame, because under the rough start is a solid little action RPG that just ends way too soon. If you can survive the rocky intro, there's a decent experience waiting—just not for long.
