What exactly is the lore to darius series?

I mean I been playing this game since saturn and other than vague different endings in gaiden I have no idea what this games storyline is about. What the aliens motives are, or why they seem to have a strong interest in making all their ships look like marine animals. Is anyone more well learned on the lore and what the aliens motives are cause I don't know anything besides, battles happened....

Game Will Not Actually Start

I've had less than a handful of Steam games not start or not being able to find a quick solution. This game doesn't not start and there seems to be no fix. My PC is a well-oiled machine. Everything is up to date and working properly. This is most definitely an issue with the game itself as others have reported. Specs are as follows. Again with EVERYTHING up to date and functioning properly: - Windows 11 x64 - Intel 10700k 5.0 Ghz - Nvidia 3800 FTW3 Ultra - 32MB DDR4 RAM 4200 - Samsung SSD EVO 4TB - TV ...
