So, I jumped into the pit beneath Luca, and there doesn't seem to be a way out. Am I completely missing something?

Unity's gamepad support is inherently poor, requiring separate inputs in the configuration specifically for gamepad/joystick buttons. While the current listing seems to include some gamepad inputs, they aren't uniquely labeled (there are three different 'Submit' buttons, two 'Jump' and 'Attack' buttons, etc.), and some seem to be missing (there is a 'Horizontal' input which accepts a joystick axis, but no 'Vertical' - there are separate 'Up' and 'Down' inputs but these don't accept a joystick axis). 1) I couldn't get the game pad to work properly. Button B was always "Submit" even when told not to be, and other issues. I removed all game pad settings from the Unity input dialog and used xpadder, but even this doesn't work in the menu for some reason....
