These projects are a great reminder of what’s possible in 001, whether you’re working in 2D or 3D.

Our most recent massive update for 001 Game Creator brought one of the most requested features: alpha-layered tile support for floors and walls! This means more complex visuals without the graphical issues seen in older versions, making your worlds look better than ever.

We also included critical scripting fixes, improved projectile consistency, and full support for mobile virtual keyboards. Geometry and math values like “Arctangent” and “Direction from Point” were fixed as well, which is crucial for directional logic in gameplay. Android/iOS developers will also notice better image export feedback and improved 3D rendering on lower-end devices.

An important hotfix also followed, upgrading the Steam SDK and updating local documentation, now including our newest Step Dungeon Maze Kit DLC!
