Thank you all for your reviews, comments and forums posts, this is exactly why we launched into Early Access and we're excited to bring you the 3rd patch since release on Jan 24th!

This time we've made some tweaks to the difficulty in response to comments that some of you were getting GOT a LOT!

This includes changes to the ambient sanity drain, the speed and frequency of the doll spawning and how fast the Safe Rooms activate. Full notes are below:

• Lowered ambient sanity drain values throughout most of the game - Majority of player feedback was that the ambient sanity drain wasn’t providing interesting moments. So we’d like to focus on the dolls being the primary source of sanity drain.
  
• Increased ambient sanity drain after 500 seconds - This is to help bring the game to natural end and to reduce the effectiveness of hiding in a corner desperately cranking music boxes!
  
• Decreased doll sanity drain multiplier as the match progresses - There was an unwanted compound effect of increasing the number of dolls and making them drain more sanity, so we’re reducing that a bit to give you all more of a chance!

• Opens quicker across most player counts
  
• With 3 players, now randomly chooses between 1 and 2 saferoom capacity, as opposed to 1 maximum.

• Reduced doll spawn at immediate start of the game - This is to give players a little bit of breathing room to get their bearings.
  
• Slower increase of dolls spawning in the early half of a round - A lot of players were getting got, quite early on. So the dolls are going to wait a bit, to give you all a chance! 😉
  
• More dolls towards the later half of a round - The later a game gets, the more difficult it should be. Most players don’t and won’t last this long!

• Sound range increased from 12 to 18m for running to encourage more careful movement around the school.
