Graphics problems on my Macbook Air

Hi guys, I just got a little Macbook Air 11", upgraded with the i7 and 8 gigs of RAM. It's got Intel 5000 integrated graphics. When I run Civ4 Beyond the Sword, there are tons of graphic artifacts. I'm sure my computer can handle this game, I mean... It's a pretty old game! Anybody else having problems with this?...

Playing multiplayer with a friend

Hey - I'm found my friend's Steam profile but we can't join a game together. Civ IV asks me to log in, but it doesn't accept my log in info and the website to update my account is defunct. Any suggestions?
