After thorough research and endless self debate, I have settled on the new features of this now-available new patch.

Farts and Boobs it is !

We added a bunch of Cheat Codes to enable farting and first person view of the background images. To activate a cheat code, just type it while in a level.

o : A single, lonely fart
BigFart : Every fart is now twice as big
AutoFart : Automatically Fart twice per second
FartTrain : Fart many, many times per second automatically. CHOO CHOO !!!
Boobs : First Person view
Boobies : First person view, ice is hidden
BoobVision : First person view, ice is hidden and so are the background cubes !

We're very excited to share with you the content of our latest patch.


Some heroes have been redesigned and/or improved.

The big visual improvement is through the new particle system. Every hero now has his own particle colors and behavior. Those colors also apply to power ups and death making for improved visual personality of heroes.

Things like rocket trails and ice breaking look a lot better now.

We also added a feature that has been widely requested...


In the Gallery, you will be able to see every goddess you've saved so far.

When you complete a level with a Workshop Image in the background, that Workshop Image will also get added to your Gallery.

This allows you to grow your Gallery as big as you wish by collecting every Workshop Image that interests you.

Hello gamers !

We are thrilled to see how well received our patch for public workshop alternate images has been so far ! There are currently over 750+ publicly available images on workshop and new images are being added every day by users.

This new patch aims to make it easier to find the best alternate images for a given level and to reward users who choose to upload them by including their Steam username in-game.

Improvements :
-Added a screen after completing a level to vote the image up or down.
-Image selector is now sorted with highest voted items on top.
-High res images now have an HD tag on the image selector.
-Name of the item creator is shown before level starts and the link button leads to the workshop item webpage.

With those improvements, fan favorite images will rise to the top of the list.

We hope that the credit and recognition from upvotes will keep the best creators motivated to continue providing the game with quality images as well.

In future developments, we will start working on the gallery mode. Gallery mode will also include all items that are both completed and upvoted.

The gallery mode is expected to launch either as a patch or included with the final release of the game.

Since our launch a few months ago, we've been adding a lot of cool stuff to the game. Here's a quick recap :

-Custom level pictures (integrated with workshop)
-Achievements
-Trading cards

We've also done a lot of polishing, UI tweaks, gameplay balancing and bug hunting.

We hope you enjoy those changes and are looking forward to a full release "Soon" (early 2016?)

You can also now easily spot levels with 100% completion, as they now have a golden ring around them.

The editor + game also has many new fixes and minor level design improvements.

We've just uploaded a new patch to allow for custom background images !

Now when selecting a level to play, a new "Choose Picture" button is accessible.

From that button, you can select any user submitted image.

You are also able to browse for a local file to use.

When choosing a local file, you will the be asked to position / scale the image according to the level bounds, with the level ice breakable areas visible over the image (to setup the image so that the best parts of the image can be under breakable areas of the ice)

You will then position the image to create a planet preview. and select workshop visibility (or local only)

All in all, this can be done in less than a minute !

If images are to be shared on workshop, please make sure they contain no nudity, no sex, no gore, no copyright infringement or any other objectionable content (use your judgment... more detailed rules will be written as we go)


(Manually) Distributing an entire image set

With this new functionality, it is now possible to replace all planet images + all background images. Currently, the only supported way is by the Choose Picture button on a level per level basis through Steam Workshop.

If you want to make a collection of images to replace all images at once, you will have to do it from outside of the game. Fortunately, it is an easy process. Just setup your local version to have all the custom images you want and then distribute this folder to your friends

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Uncraft World\EditorData\CustomLevelSkins

*Start of the path can vary depending on your installation settings.

**DO NOT distribute our images. They are copyrighted and not to be distributed by anyone else but steam and us.

The best use for this technique is too quickly distribute a collection of images. For example, to play the entire game will kitties or dogs on the backgrounds. Since this is done outside of Steam, it can also be used to distribute images that would otherwise get banned on Steam such as nudes.

(Manually) Future Developments

We decided to ship this patch ASAP because we think it is a killer feature for the game going forward. However, we do recognize that the current implementation has many possible improvements. Here's a list of improvements we might bring to the system if the interest is high enough. No guarantees any of this will actually get implemented.

-Rate/Report functionnality integrated directly in game
-Creating a a collection of images directly on Steam (rather than manually copying a folder)
-Allow more then 50 alternates per level (pages)
-Allow sorting of alternates (Most Recent, Best rating)

We've added 30 achievements + 7 Cards + 3 background + badge + emoticons.
