Hi there soldiers!

The last few months we've been hard at work at a huge update for the game and today we're proud to release it. :D

We have reworked and improved almost every aspect of the game ranging from textures, lighting, the sky, the environments, particle effects, sound effects, animations, vehicles, emotes, customization to much much more!

Here's a few highlights of the most significant changes:

Visuals:
-pixelated textures are now no longer pixelated and higher res
-new allied tank texture
-new axis tank texture
-new allied plane texture
-new axis plane texture
-new allied motorcycle texture
-new axis motorcycle texture
-6 completely new high quality building models (all older buildings have been removed)
-new lighthouse model and texture
-many new props including sandbags, stone walls, bicycle, fences and many many more ...
-new dynamic sky with multiple panning clouds layers, cloud silver lining from the sun or moon, blinking stars and more
-completely remade / new lighting for all scenarios
-all scenarios (noon, evening and night) completely overhauled
-many new terrain textures
-many new particle effects including explosion, bullet impacts, fire and more
-new overcharge skill effects
-several finished models for things like bombs, rpg rocket projectiles, ejected bullets, debris and more
-new tree model and texture
-added destroyed vehicle states for motorcycles and tanks that linger and burn for a while
-added trails to plane MG projectiles
-tweaked toon-shader to be less flat coloured and more light dependant
-tweaked light effects for skills and weapons
-added flowers and weeds to grass
-tweaked grass density
-new backpack texture
-new flag pole model
-added hedgehog model
-changed all weapon proportions to be more cartoony / stylized

Gameplay:
-aiming now affect movement speed and accuracy
-lots of camera position tweaks for both the character and vehicles
-core weapons added for each class (recon: knife, trooper: grenade and heavy: RPG)

Maps:
-new map: Coastal Conflict

Animations:
-complete rework and overhaul of all walking, running and sprinting animations for all directions
-new reload animations for all weapons
-new firing animations
-emotes added + emote menu (including 4 emotes: laugh, taunt, wave and clap)
-new character proportions (more bulky, bigger hands, ...)
-added motorcycle animations for leaning, in air falling and standing stationary

Weapons:
-knife added - new melee recon weapon that can be used to stab or thrown
-poison trap surface attachment system remade and improved, should be cleaner and more consistent

UI:
-new weapon icons
-new font
-new main menu theme song
-new custom crosshair system added
-crosshair customizer menu added to options allowing full control over the crosshairs used for player, tank, plane and the planned AA guns
-added black fade when spawning
-new map loading screen
-added current equiped item info to left lower corner
-weapon ammo progress bar reworked
-weapon ammo textual counter added
-new Allied flag
-new sniper scopes
-semi automatic snipers now have a different scope type

Sounds:
-many new weapon sounds
-new reload sounds
-new plane sounds
-added plane wind sounds when turning (roll and pitch)
-added plane engine pitch increase decrease when diving or climbing
-added faction old radio songs to flag objectives that play when held by a faction

General changes and tweaks:
-Soldier renamed to Trooper
-Commando renamed to Recon
-Gunner renamed to Heavy
-made ini tweaks for smoother online play

Cosmetics:
-several new weapon skins added

Bug fixes:
-A huge amount of AI related bug fixes
-lots and lots of optimisations across many areas such as AI, netcode and more
-complete rework of motorcycle netcode
-many physics related issues fixed such as tank terrain collisions, tank smashing, roadkilling, ...
-many improvements and optimizations across all vehicles
-many improvements to AI behaviour
-fixed several weapon bugs
