Background: I played League of Legends for several years, mostly on ADC role, plus played a few roguelikes (not for long, but I know the genre), including Slay the Spire, Hades, Brotato and Dead Cells.

• For now, gameplay didn't fall apart and didn't trivialize itself to pressing 1-2 buttons every time, like Hades does. From the beginning to the end, it keeps you on the edge, demanding quick thinking and usage of every skill in your arsenal to stay alive and deal good damage. It's especially obvious on bosses. Devs did a good job at keeping the MOBA experience of skilled microplays in the purely PvE environment, and I think that alone is worth a lot of praises.
  
• While being hard, the game is fair. Every time you get hit, you know it was your mistake. Every attack is clearly telegraphed, every enemy pattern can be learned and countered; most of the attacks, if not every attack, won't even require any extra mobility aside from your basic movement options (walking and dash). Same applies to bosses: at first, you may feel they require too much mobility, but if you'll carefully analyze their moveset, you realize that, for example, almost all of first bosses' attacks can be simply sidestepped, on second boss you can dash/run behind him to avoid second hit from sword, etc. Of course, when there are 5-10 enemies on screen, it will be much harder to simply sidestep them, and that's where your skills come into play, reinforcing my first point.
  
• From my limited experience, some of roguelike elements are implemented fairly fine (why only some will be explained later). I personally liked implementation of a "timer" - horde of enemies (Hunters) slowly creeping up as you progress through the area. I also like that you are allowed to actually enter those areas if you're confident in your skills and build. I entered a few of orange zones, and they were fairly challenging (more challenging than regular stages with buffed enemies). Skills are various enough so you don't feel like you're picking between "nuke number 1" and "nuke number 2"; some gems also have interesting effects (varying from "gives shield when skill deals ice damage" to "now basic attack deals dark damage + stacks can be exploded by the skill damage"). I only got one curse (lose gold upon taking damage), so can't say much about those; however, the whole "get something good, but you need to play around curse's condition for some time" looks like a promising concept.
  
• QoL. Everything is rebindable on mouse+keyboard, skills can be freely swapped in a really simple manner, I rarely feel like I have to think on which button to press (the shop still trips me, tho).

• Power difference between skills and gems. Some skills are obviously more desirable/powerful than others. It can be argued that same issue exists in games like Slay the Spire, but unlike StS, in this game you operate with a very limited skillset instead of dozens of cards, which means you will more likely than not pick the skills with higher rarity (since most likely they will outclass other options), which will obviously hinder roguelike part of gameplay, making it less variable and therefore less interesting. Same thing is slightly less prevalent in gems, but it has other issue - some gems are way too bland. Simply compare "gives cooldown reduction to 1 skill" or 5 different "every X seconds this skill gets empowered" with "Your attacks ricochet to nearest targets, for every burning enemy nearby get some buffs, and burn damage increased by 100%". And guess which one has which rarity.
  
• Map design choices. Mainly the decision to hide contents of rooms upon entering area if you're too far away from them. I feel like this is one of the StS aspects (since it was StS that popularized it) countless devs are implementing "incorrectly", for whatever reason. StS map's function is to let player PLAN OUT their moves ahead of time. When all next areas are in fog of war, covered with question marks, etc., this strategic aspect is essentially destroyed - the player has to hope that RNG is on his side and there will be the correct chamber in good location. Also, I think some modifiers look too similar (or even exactly identical), so you are basically forced to hover cursor over each of them to see what to expect there.
  
• Artifacts and Levels/Experience. It might be just an Early Access thing, but for now, from what I can tell, Artifacts are nothing but lore tablets with a bit of meta currency rewards on top of that. Also, their position is completely random and, from what I can tell, not shown on the map. If artifacts will become something much more impactful, I'm afraid that randomness might backfire. And I don't even know what levels do, aside from slightly healing you on level ups. Maybe they add a bit to every stat, but overall, I don't think that's enough to make Level mechanic and Artifacts worth keeping in their CURRENT state.
  
• What I'd like to call "shadow of Hades". It's not a negative on its own - it's fine to take some things that other games implemented well. However, it might be not the case here: suffocating meta progression, unnecessary variety of currencies, "hyper armor" some enemies have that prevents you from applying crowd control effects to them - all of that feels like something taken directly from Hades. Of course, I might be wrong. And thankfully, those things are not lying in the foundation of combat, which I discussed and praised earlier.
  
• A bit on currencies - I personally think that Gold and Dream Dust could be combined into one currency, adding more decision making. Meta currency should be deleted or be easier to get, more on that later.
  
• Might be my issue, but sometimes game has weird hiccups performance wise. Easily fixed with optimization patches.

• Meta progression. Straight up awful. Almost a deal breaker for me. This gamedesign's cancer should be deleted. You unlock skills, gems, and characters by getting "achievements", that are most of the time just boring grind fests (heal 25.000 hp, defeat 60 Hunters, etc.). I think StS implementation of unlocks is the one I would prefer. But wait, there's more! You get Skill Tree for every character (only 1 part of tree is not shared, but that doesn't change much), and 80% of it are "+5 damage, -5% cooldown" type of abilities. That should be straight up unacceptable for any good roguelike. The only thing it does is makes you grind for those unlocks, which artificially increases playtime. The worst thing is, those unlocks could potentially break the good foundation by giving way too much buffs to the character, trivializing the game. Dear devs, if you read this, PLEASE don't keep it, especially in its current form. Ideally it should be removed, but I understand that developers wouldn't want to throw away weeks or even months of time and resources it took to make this system. I think that instead of simple stat increases, there could be some sort of selectable "stars" with some unique conditional modifiers to allow players to shape their unique build.

I think this game has a really good foundation, and the concept "PvE MOBA Roguelike" has amazing potential, especially since core gameplay is really great. However, numerous questionable decisions might destroy this good foundation; thankfully, they all can be easily changed with future updates.
Overall, I think it's a good, fun game. If you're looking for fast paced, skill reliant action roguelike, or played MOBA games and want to have their gameplay loop without PvP and social aspects, I recommend giving it a try.

Its damn good so far. Id recommend it to all my friends. Feels like a full game by its self.

Fun game. Bosses are challenging. Has a standard rougelike progression system. Characters share a skill tree and have unique stills you can upgrade. Took me a while to beat get my first clear as well. Looking forward to the complete game.
