We're already halfway through 2025, time flies! 😯

Before we dive into the news, we’d like to wish you all a joyful Pride Month. 🏳️‍🌈

Love can takes so many shapes and colors and we hope to move forward together, united in love and joy, and continue to share meaningful values as Sunny Lab, speaking spark of hope and happiness for everyone. ❤️

Let’s go for the news!

We’re excited to announce that we’re currently working on Estelle’s Heart Palace, which has changed a lot since the last time we shared it with you. We’ve added waterfalls, coral structures… and the puzzles have also been redesigned! 🎨

On another topic, several new character model dialogues have been added to the game!

We mentioned Raphael in our last update, he now has two new character dialogues model!

But he’s not the only one! Mawuli is also starting to get his own character dialogues model. We’re looking forward to fully integrating him into the game and more are on their way too! ✨

Lastly, Mirembe now has a broom animation, making her even cooler than she already is. 😎

Updates are back on Steam!

Sorry we haven't been giving updates on Steam for so long, now we're back! ☀️
We hope you have been able to keep track of our updates on our socials in the meantime! (we are on Instagram[www.instagram.com], Discord[discord.gg], Bluesky[bsky.app], Twitter[x.com], Threads[www.threads.com], TikTok[www.tiktok.com], Facebook[www.facebook.com]... that's a lot of platforms!)

From now on, we'll give monthly updates here too! And to get started, a lot has happened since our last update, so here’s a selection:

There's a new map in our game, discover Ghaldari’s Shop! 🕸️

You’ll be able to buy all sorts of magical items during your adventure. It’s run by Mr. Ghaldari, Lunne’s former professor when she was studying at the academy!

Speaking of Lunne, there are some new updates for her bakery! 🥖
We've tweaked the day-to-day difficulty, especially how customers come in and the overall pacing. But most importantly: we've added bakery skins!

For example here's Sour Candy and Space Age Bakery! We hope you'll like them and more are on the way!

Our Kickstarter campaign ends with 300,000€ raised!

Our Kickstarter campaign has ended at 300,631€. What a final sprint, it was like an action movie!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. This journey has been incredible, and you've given us the greatest gift of all — the opportunity to share with you the story we've always dreamed of telling. We can't find the words to express just how much joy we feel right now.

This was our first Kickstarter as a team, and we tried our best to deliver the best campaign we could. We hope you had a great time with us, and it's only the beginning!

We are opening late pledges, so if you've missed it you can still participate and get the game early + many exclusive rewards!

Steam says that this is similar to Skullgirls 2nd Encore, so I look forward to some fast-paced fighting of some fierce dough! Seriously though, I'm guessing it references more that it's 2D and hand-drawn. I'll definitely be following this on my wishlist and can't wait to see how it turns out next year. À bientôt!...
