This year begins with a bang in the maze, bringing new features to help you face the whims of fate and offering you a fresh new way to amass gold.


You can now store actions in advance in a dedicated inventory.
No more rushed decisions or endless rerolls : plan your next moves by purchasing cards ahead of time and refine your tactics with greater precision.


But that's not all… A Traveling Merchant now makes occasional stops in the labyrinth during his journeys. Sell him your stored actions or buy the ones you need.

For a few coins, you can ensure you have everything you need to shape your adventure as you wish.

You may also come across Trinkets while drawing cards. These valuable artifacts, highly prized by the Merchant, can be sold for twice their price. When sold, they also activate special effects that make your transactions easier and more profitable.


But the Merchant never travels alone… His bodyguards protect him on his journeys. Earn his trust, and you’ll be able to command his troops for a few turns, turning their strength to your advantage.

New special cards have been added to expand your arsenal :

🂠 Merchant’s War Horn – Summon the Merchant instantly.

🂠 Keeper's Set of Keys – Collect a chest from the board.

🂠 Material Corruption – Destroy a random adventurer’s item.

These cards require Demon Tokens, and their cost increases with each use.



• Demon Tokens are now available in Classic Mode.

• The Demon Token cost to break items in Story Mode is no longer fixed at 1 but now scales with the item’s power.

• Demon Tokens earned during a Story Mode stage are no longer kept if you lose the run.

• The Scorpider, Skulrog, and Lich Lord no longer spawn their totems when defeated outside their own Story Mode stages.

• The Anger bonus in stats for the adventurer now depends on the difficulty level of the game in Classic mode. (Easy: +50% / Normal: +100% / Hard: +150%)

• Informations about the current Classic game save is now displayed before resuming.

• Fixed "How to Play" button bug.

• Fixed storymode objectives (stage 2) not trigerring when trying again the stage.

• Better readability of description texts in the grimoire.

• New game loading screen.

With Action Storage and the Merchant, fate will have less control over your journey, and you will have greater mastery over your strategy. So prepare your inventory and go see the Merchant…

The first update for Maze Keeper is finally here! Based on your feedback, corrections have been made to improve the gameplay experience and make your adventure more fluid and balanced.

You'll discover a new core mechanic, a new action card, tweaks to the Story mode, as well as numerous bug fixes.


A new mechanic has been added to liven up the pace of the game, adding a new strategic dimension and an extra touch of challenge...

The adventurer gets angry when he is defeated several times in a row by the same monster or on the same tile. He then becomes more powerful and gains more experience...
In return, earned income is greatly enhanced (up to 500% more gold) !!

So you'll have to adapt, choosing between irritating the adventurer to increase your earnings, or calming him down when the situation is about to get out of hand.

To appease his anger, you'll have to let him defeat monsters, and allow him to progress further into the labyrinth.

Totems slipping through your fingers? Don't worry: the guardian has come up with a new invention that should please you and help you in your quest...

Thanks to this magnet, the totems won't move and you'll be able to retrieve them without difficulty.
At the start of the adventurer's turn, the Runic Magnet attracts a random totem from the board.
It breaks when you retrieve the totem it has captured.




The eighth stage of the story mode proved to be particularly difficult.
Although some managed to complete it, their patience was severely tested.

The stage has been adjusted to reduce the difficulty gap with previous stages.
Altars now become available once the first three objectives have been completed.
However, totems remain unavailable in cards, even if an Altar is placed on the board.

To limit the use of Pacts with the Demon in Story mode, breaking items now costs a special currency: Demon Tokens, which can be obtained by collecting chests and winning bonus levels. Use them wisely...




Trap, TNT, and Tactical Nuke prices have been slightly reduced.



• Support for 4K screen resolution (3840 x 2160).

• Clarified some cards and descriptions.

• SCORE leaderboards has been added.

• Special characters support for usernames in leaderboards.

• Fixed an issue with saving items and their buyback price.

• Fixed a bug that locked the Golden Reroll card.

• Fixed a bug with adventurer's health points when exploding the bomber skeleton.

• Fixed a bug that prevented a Stage 3 objective in Story mode from updating.

• Fixed dialog display issues in some screen resolutions.

• Story mode dialogs now display longer.

• Fixed a camera framing bug in the second cinematic in Story mode.

• Fixed a bug that made chests invisible and usable after being turned into totems by the Molotaur.

• Fixed location of floating card previews when hovering over monsters, depending on screen resolution.

• Added help text if the player loses in the first round to an adventurer with near-maximum energy.

• Reduced XP bonus earned by adventurers after defeating a monster once all Story mode stage objectives have been validated.

• Scorpider, Skulrog and Lich Lord totem drop disabled in Story mode stage 8.

• Fixed a bug where Goldigs prices would not reset when restarting a stage in Story Mode.

• Fixed a bug where monster desappear after beeing switched if the other monster die in lava after the switch.

• Adventurer Health Points are no longer capped at to 100.000.

• Lava tiles are now less bright.

This first update has been concocted in the hope of meeting the community's expectations as fully as possible, and perfecting the gaming experience.
