While you’re free to experiment with Spell Merging, we’ve noticed some combinations can feel unintuitive. Here are a few ideas to help beginners get started:

Crowd Control:
Merge [Gravity Zone] into a projectile spell like [Fireball]. Then, combine this with an AoE or Wall-type spell to maximize damage.
Spell Rain:
Sacrifice AoE like [Fire Rain] into Projectile like [Cosmic Ice]. Sacrifice the combo into AoE like [Fire Rain] again. Sacrifice the combo into Projectile like [Cosmic Ice] again.
Empowered Summons:
Merge offensive spells like [Ice Wave] or [Electric Blade] into a summon, allowing the summon to cast them when it attacks.

• You can summon the Spellweaver at any time by [right-clicking] the crystal he gave you from your inventory.
  
• Merging the same spell will strengthen it without taking up additional Merge Slots (dots).
  
• Enchantments will occupy your Merge Slots.
  
• More powerful spells (indicated by a grade of +/- number) consume more mana, meaning merged spells will also cost more. But no change in the cooldowns,

I read through your reviews and feedback on other platforms.
So far, I see there are the following issues that we will see how to fix:
- Unbreakable chests & walls
- Issues with Chinese localization
- Run progression balance
- No Build interconnection between artifacts, spells, level-ups
- Basic spell too weak? (Just nerfed it because nobody was using Special Spells...)
- No Effect combos like fire+poison=explosion (That is a brand new layer of meta...)
- Gravity Zone is bad

Usual mobs on the 0 Difficult are dumb. If you want more clever enemy AI, choose difficulty #1.
Mob Thunder Spirit will learn to shoot in XY axis and summon clones, like his Elite version in Diff #0.
Also~ You could only find elites on Diff #1.
When for the 1st time you unlock items from Artifact Smelter, Weapon Smith, or Spell Warlock, you can take items to the run. It is done so you can test the thing you unlock right away!

To be more precise, An Amazing Wizard is a fast-paced metroidvania-like 2D hand-drawn pixel art game where you Create your own Spells to fight enemies. in this FREE Prologue demo you could:

An Amazing Wizard is a 2D fast-paced metroidvania-inspired spell-slinging combat RPG game with detailed pixel art. You play as a wizard from legend, wielding the magic of 7 elements cast by mysterious hands. Enchant your spells and melee weapons, defeat enemies to level up and choose from 250 perks. Discover and equip 250 artifacts, and merge 100 unique spells in any desired order. Collect your lost memories and uncover the hidden truth about this world.

We've added Spell Merge. You can now take spells to the Spellweaver and merge them up to 5 times. Here's an example:

Lesser Fireball: A magic ball that sets the enemy on fire:

Cast Gravity Zone that catches the enemy in place upon Fireball impact:
Explore the new Ancient Desert world, a brand-new map with new enemies like thunder spirits that duplicate near you and mummies that strike from afar with extending bandages.

We've also revamped the UI for the Bestiary to make hunting more intuitive. And there are 2 new bosses and new elites that were not present in the previous demo.
