[PATCH 0.2.007] Exploding Barrels, Inverted Aim, New ADS settings, and more!

Hello everybody!

We've been working to add as many things as we can based on your feedback! A few new updates are:

Exploding Barrels: Red barrels can be found across the map! Shooting these will cause them to explode, killing enemies AND players, so be careful! They can be pretty useful if shot at the right time!

Landmine update: Shooting a landmine will now kill any enemies that are near it. Use that wisely!

Inverted Aim setting: You can find a new setting in controls called inverted aim. This will change aim control on the gun, but not in the menus. Let us know if this is what players looking for inverted controls wanted!

Scope changes: Scopes have been re-adjusted on all guns to be closer to the player based on your feedback. This should make them easier to use!

ADS Zoom: You may notice that when aiming down sights, the game will now zoom in much more. This change was based on your feedback! If you like how it was before, don't worry, in controls you can find a setting to change it from Zoom to Normal!

High Framerate Mode: This is an experimental setting, but you can now set the framerate much higher. If you are experiencing lag in multiplayer, please change this back to 60 FPS.

NOTE: Video settings will be reset with this update. VRAM setting has been changed to default 512mb. Please keep this setting as is, unless you have a high end graphics card. This should fix the VRAM crashing issue for most players affected by it.

Bug Fixes:

Brightness should no longer reset after you die.
Voice settings should no longer reset after you die.
Tools should no longer disappear if changing to something while having the camera out and activated.
Landmines have a more reliable hitbox now, making them easier to shoot.

Note:

We wanted to have the leveling system in this weekend, but Lily has to travel next week and didn't want to push an update that could cause any serious bugs. We will get that into the game soon, and also will be holding a vote in our Discord to name the next map, which is almost complete!

Clues Bugged?

Me and a Friend got three Clues like Orbies Floating, Dots and then the Radio speaking and yet when we click the right one (Beta), captured it, brought it back to the Evac Van only for the game to tell us we didn't capture it... We had that Multiple times now and it feels like it's bugged....

[PATCH 0.2.006] Quality of Life update, Store descriptions, and more!

Hey everyone!

This update includes a few things people have been asking for. The stores in game now display descriptions for items and purchasing is faster. Achievements have also been fixed!

All items in stores now have descriptions of what they do, so you don't have to buy them first to know what they do.
You can now buy items in the stores much faster.
Stash in the lobby is now fixed, and should no longer delete the bottom row.
We have fixed up the Achievements, and added a few more! You should now be able to unlock the achievements. If you have already bought all skins, next update will include a few more skins so you can unlock those two!

Next weeks update will include the new level system, and custom titles! Sorry we couldn't get to it this week. But it will be added soon!

Thanks again for all the support you have shown us. The feedback has been super helpful and fun to implement into the game! We are on our quest for 50 reviews, and appreciate all the kind words you guys have left us!

[PATCH 0.2.005] Score Screen Updates, Reworked Rewards, and more!

Hey everyone! This week we tried to tackle a few more things people have been asking for. The new score and ranking system will help make looting the entire zone more worthwhile, as you can earn ranks and bonus payouts for completely clearing the map.

Score and Ranking System: You will now receive a ranking and bonus payouts based on how well you played during each contract. Try to earn an S rank by completing all objectives, and with every modifier enabled! You can view these scores in the lobby on the new TV screen!

You can press "L" to view the current objective completion rates on your PDA at any time.

Headshots: Headshots have been increased across all weapons.

Enemy Physics: In preparation for the new Shotgun weapon we are working on, we've started testing physics reactions on enemies when they are killed! When you kill an enemy, they should now react in the appropriate direction that you shot them in. Players said they wanted enemies to react more, so we are working on that. First step is this new physics system!

Minor Stuff

New loading, extraction, and failure screens have been added.
A direct link to our Discord has been added to the main lobby screen.

I have found an annoying bug when I played with my friend on the map Blyatanov, if the anomaly spawns in the living quarters, the red crystal gets stuck in a room which you can't get to, on the far right wing of the building by the stairs. Behind a half open/closed door. Don't know if the red crystal have different spawn locations in that area. Would love to see that get fixed, maybe remove the door or change the spawn location?...

I couldn't set a framelimit higher than 60 fps in the settings. Interesting ghost hunt style game that rewards exploration. A lot of the basics of familiar faces come together to create something that provides a rewarding loop of explore, hunt, and extract. Nothing stands out on it's own - but Lich + Lily managed to blend the ingredients well enough to make a satisfying experience with less of the frustrations of it's inspirations allowing for a fun time regardless of skill level.

Given it's early access, I don't have any super complaints that haven't already been addressed in one way or another - and with expected update schedule being ~weekly I can foresee this becoming a great alternative to the others that people are bored of. My crew and I had a great time with what we experienced without even trying challenge runs. Looking forward to seeing what the future of this title brings.

Early Access -arvostelu

This game has been an absolute blast, with updates coming in almost every week and bugs being fixed very quickly. I have loved playing this game and enjoyed the great community on discord they have made. The devs listen to the players and really want to make a connection to the player to give the players what they want. Overall the style is terrifying and incredible, getting many scares out of me in ways other games have not been able to. If you do not mind that it is in early access and is not fully finished, I fully suggest to check this game out with friends.
