The Great Teacher Update welcomes Chiron back to the battleground, totally reforges Joust's visuals, introduces the massive Reign of the Archfiend event (including a Saga for Kukulkan), delivers a Ranked reset, and rolls out wide-ranging updates to game modes, visuals, systems, and balance. Whether you are climbing Ranked, chasing cosmetics, or jumping back in after a break, this update is packed with reasons to play.

Chiron blends precision damage, team utility, and clutch survivability into a uniquely flexible hunter playstyle.

• Herbal Medicine (Passive): Abilities consume charges to heal injured allies over time while granting bonus Strength and Intelligence, prioritizing the lowest-health ally nearby.

• Training Exercise: Deploy a constellation that grants Crowd Control immunity to allies, then detonates for Physical Damage.

• Masterful Shot: Mark enemies to reduce protections, then fire seeking arrows. New +1s: At high Strength or Attack Speed thresholds, this ability evolves and gains powerful AoE Ground Target or rapid-fire variants.

• Giddyup!: Gallop forward while dealing damage, displacing enemies, and firing attacks on the move. New +1: You can now fire in any direction during this ability.

• Centaurus (Ultimate): Become a living constellation, firing wall-piercing arrows from afar. Chiron defies death during this ability and can revive himself by securing a kill.

Aspect of the Heroic Tutor arrives January 30, enhancing Chiron’s team-focused identity with an Enchanter Support-focused aspect. Marked enemies can be stunned, Training Exercise amplifies ally damage, and Centaurus transforms into a battlefield-wide support tool.

Reign of the Archfiend is a brand-new event inspired by Buy All events from SMITE 1, offering an incredible amount of cosmetic content at a heavily discounted price.

For 8,000 Diamonds, players can unlock all Wandering Market cosmetic content released through the end of March, including:

• The Archfiend Saga Kukulkan

• Two Reward Travelers (Ra and Anhur, and Mordred)

New Multiqueue (Beta)
Queue simultaneously for Conquest, Arena, and Joust to find faster matches, especially in lower-population regions. Note: This is a test of the technology, and only offers a single queue; in the future, we may add the ability to select which queues you Multiqueue for.

This update introduces a harder Ranked reset with increased variance, compressing top players closer together and accelerating movement through ranks in the new split.

• New report option for players not playing their assigned role

• Aspect descriptions now update dynamically in the God tab

• Clearer notification behavior across menus (easier to clear red dots)

• HUD optimizations for smoother performance
