While it is cool that AI is used to communicate with the ghost thats about where it stops.

The over abundance of trashy GenAI art in the game, Buggy if not impossible game mechanics that feel unrefined, and the absolutely abysmal journal that they couldnt even get to function correctly is more than enough to not encourage anyone to play the game.

Even in their disclosure of the AI being used they did not specify the use of GenAI art, only the use of AI for communicating.

For knock offs of Phasmophobia, this is by far the worst offender and i actually regret purchasing this game for myself and as a gift for a friend to play.

The game is using a localized LLM AI for the spirit box, which is interesting by itself. And with it being a localized instance I honestly don't mind even if it is a little jank. What I do mind is that the art in the game, as in the actual paintings on the walls and stuff, are also AI generated. Which is not cool. and also there's some suspicion of purchased/bot reviews that the devs commissioned. And I believe it honestly, because with how janky and nearly unplayable this game is, I cannot imagine how this game has managed "very positive" reviews. I am fully willing to change my review later if/when the game becomes more playable and they cut down on the AI ♥♥♥♥ and pay actual artists. I can see some potential, it could be good. It does some interesting things that I think would work well, it just needs implemented better.
