Sorry to announce due to my own mistakes The Legend of Maui will be delayed, hopefully this will be resolved with the week.

Finally got around to jumping into a Next Fest. If you haven't already check out the demo, and feel free to send some feedback.

Being apart of a Next Fest can only mean one thing, The Legend of Maui will be going live soon tm.

Demo Issue FIX

The demo version of the game still has the main game folder so you'll need to rename the game data folder to have it start from the demo executable. I.E. (The Legends of Maui Demo_Data) Cheers and good luck!

Combat system

Kia ora. I played this game enough to find a few flaws you might or might not be aware of i killed some of the basic enemies but when i found Te Ra i tried to fight but there was no indication of Te Ra's health and i was stuck with a message on my screen saying hold to skip but didn't say what to hold, Te Ra could not damage me and i couldn't find a way to look at the controls. The movement felt a bit off but a great start to a Maori game. Churrr
