Happy Holidays everyone! We're pleased to announce the Winter Update, 'tis the season.

Without further ado, here's the meat and potatoes of the update - two new ghosts have arrived, the Morozko and the Skinwalker!

Introducing the Morozko, chilling!
"A spirit of frost from Slovic folklore that becomes extremely aggressive if the environment is cold enough - a prospect that is only a matter of time, as reports indicate that the Morozko freezes an area faster than any other ghost."

Not to be mistaken for a Wendigo folks, here's the Skinwalker!
"A malevolent spirit from Native American legend, the Skinwalker is one of the most dangerous ghosts an investigator can encounter. Aggressive and cunning, rumors say that they can mimic behaviors typically reserved for other ghosts."

We're bringing some new features to the lobby, most notable of which is a new room you can unlock! What secrets could lie beyond? More importantly, how many more cats would the room hold?

Also in this update: there's a plethora of new spooks to see which we'll let you discover yourself, as well as a slew of bug fixes and quality of life improvements.

Happy Halloween ghost hunters!

It's been a wild ride releasing on the 22nd and seeing a tide of new players get their hands on the retail game, experiencing the Theater Church and School maps for the first time. We appreciate everyone's support, streams and reviews - every bit helps us to make BITN the best it can be!

We've been hard at work since the 22nd to fix bugs, incorporate feedback and add more features, more ghostly shenanigans, and of course more cats for your office.

In other exciting news, we saw our first 5k+ stream of the game! Bob and Susan handled the flood of chat commands surprisingly well in Democracy mode, and as for the printer in the lobby, well...
Now that we've released BITN to early access, the road to full release begins! We're crafting a detailed roadmap for you all to check out but in general you can look forward to new events, new maps, more interactions with Bob and Susan, and more minigames on the lobby's PC!

Here's some of the updates we've put out in the past two weeks!

• Two new difficulty modes, Hell and Impossible
  
• Added more rescuable cats to the office, one of which is named after Chelvie our first player to beat Impossible difficulty!
  
• Fix Twitch integration Democracy mode on the School map
  
• Fix Twitch integration Idle Democracy and Idle Anarchy modes, now working as intended
  
• Prevent Bob from wandering off too far off the beaten track around the Gym on the School map
  
• New command, !channel {1-4} {roomName}. Directly sets a CCTV to a room by name!
  
• Bob and Susan should move fully into the HQ when you ask them to come back, on the Theater map
  
• Ghosts can blow out the candles you purchase, not just the default one
  
• Added weather effects and events to the School map
  
• Added sound cues to one of our more stealthy lethal events to make it a little more detectable
  
• Ghost of a Chance minigame on your lobby's PC has had a massive update! New perks, new waves, balancing updates, health pickups and exp collection pickups that can now drop from enemies
  
• To prevent confusion, no longer auto-select NPCs when giving them an item
  
• "Gameplay" tab in Settings menu is now the "Integrations" tab, with twitch auth button moved to the top
  
• Fix issue on the Lobby PC where the video player was non-closeable
  
• Bob and Susan should move fully into the HQ when you ask them to come back, on the Theater map
  
• Fixed some spook events that should give photo credit that were not
  
• Entryway for the School map should now be a valid target for voice and Twitch commands
  
• Crosses should guarantee immunity against all lethal events now (once)
  
• Nerf the radius that candles and flashlight can destroy [Redacted]
  
• Reduce the distance at which flashlights and your camera should be impacted by wall collision
  
• Balanced some events that were happening too rarely or too often
  
• Theater is now the 2nd map in the map progression, School is now the 3rd
  
• Reduced item prices. Candles are now $25, salt and crosses are $50
  
• Item shop UI overhaul / quality of life improvements
  
• Add "come back" command
  
• Fix Ghost of a Chance minigame crash to desktop bug
  
• Bathroom 1 and Bathroom 2 on Theater map should now properly recognize placed EMF being in them
  
• Fixed various place locations for items across the four maps
