No Steam features, more expensive, why get this over the ROM?

Missed opportunity to provide achievements, trading cards, even leaderboards. It seems odd to provide this version of the game at an upcharge when it comes with no benefits as opposed to just getting the ROM from https://heromart.com/collections/dungeons-doomknights which even comes with bonus items for two other games....
