Started on November 6th, our “House Planner Challange” event ended yesterday. And we have added the selected planners, the prize of the event, to the game by default.
Now you will be able to select one of the ready-made plans on the planner screen and start construction.

I want you to know that we loved the plans of everyone who participated and we had a hard time choosing. We decided to add 6 defaults each for small, medium and large plots.
Apart from that, we have now added ready-made plans for the building tasks in the missions.

Now, we can move on to the bug fixes and improvements in this update.

• Exterior Cladding and Tile Laying Update:
  We’ve improved the cladding and tile laying process, enhancing both visuals and functionality.
  
• Trailer Sales and Renewal:
  Trailers can now be sold. Once purchased, they refresh every two in-game days in the store, allowing you to buy as many as you want!
  
• Stair Placement Fixes:
  Issues with placing stairs after Save/Load have been resolved, including the problem where ceilings would automatically appear closed, preventing stair placement. This fix will not affect previous saves, so if you're still experiencing issues, we recommend restarting the build process.
  
• Rug Packaging Fix:
  A bug where rugs would fall beneath the ground when packaged and thrown as a box has been fixed. This issue also led to "Stolen Furniture" errors, which have now been addressed.
  
• UI Improvements:
  Various UI fixes and enhancements have been implemented to improve overall gameplay experience.
  
• Some minor bug fixes

Trolley is once again being updated and becoming more useful!

• Fixed Detachment Issue: Resolved an issue where objects in the vehicle trunk would detach and remain suspended in the air if the trolley was in the trunk when the game was saved or loaded. This won't happen from now on but it won't affect already detached boxes. You have to put your boxes to vehicle trunk again.
  
• Updated Interaction Texts: The interaction texts displayed on the trolley have been updated; the "Throw Object" option now appears correctly.
  
• Easier Box Collection: Collecting boxes with the trolley is now easier. When you approach boxes with the trolley and left-click, you can collectively pick up the boxes in front of you.
  
• Enhanced Trolley Functionality: The trolley can now pick up objects from vehicle trunks and cargo drop points.
  
• New Leaning Animations: Added right and left leaning animations when using the trolley.
  Press 'X' to lean right. Press 'Z' to lean left.

For those who are tired of traveling!

• Transporting items from the Cargo Point to vehicles is now easier. When you select an item or box and bring it to your vehicle, if you hold down the 'Shift' key while placing the item, the next box will automatically appear in your hands. No more need to go back and forth between the Cargo Point and your vehicle!

• Cargo Timer Sync: Resolved the time discrepancy between client and server in cargo missions.
  
• Ceiling Painting Issue: Fixed an issue where ceilings could not be painted in construction and decoration missions.
  
• Repainting Ceilings: Fixed a problem where ceilings couldn't be repainted to a different color after being painted once in construction missions.
  
• Staircase Ceiling Fix: Resolved the issue where ceilings in staircase areas couldn't be painted; these areas now automatically get painted the same color as the ceiling.

We have also implemented various improvements and bug fixes with this update.

Hello, dear contractors!

For those players who find the planner complicated or boring, or who make mistakes in using it, we have decided to add a few “Default” presets to the planner. This will make it easier, especially for our younger players. We realized that this is not the most enjoyable part of the game for everyone, and we want to please these players, even if they are few in number. Going forward, we will continue to work on more innovations in building.
However, in line with our roadmap, we plan to release version 1.0 of the game in the first quarter of 2025. As we are in the final months of early access, I would like to remind you once again how valuable reviews are to us.

We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new event: the House Planner Challenge!

In this event, you’ll have the opportunity to submit your very own house plan design! We are very excited to see your creativity come alive! And now the most exciting part: The winning designs will be added directly to the base game with the name of the creator listed with it, making it available for all players to use! We would like to point out that you are welcome to submit more than one design!

First of all, you need to join our Discord[discord.com] server.

1. Create an house plan for the game (make it functional, think of the basics; a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom). You can decide yourself or you would rather make an house plan ''small, medium or large''
   
2. Make an screenshot of the planner. And locate your planner savefile to submit it.
   See below where to find your planner files!
   
3. Post the screenshot and the planner file in the therefore made channel (With a description if you would like)

To find your save files, you can copy this:
%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\ContractVille\Saved\SaveGames
Then paste it in the file explorer.
Press enter and the folder with your save files should be opened.
It should probably be called: Default_planningsavegame_c.sav

You can send us as many plans as you wish. Until November 13th, we will evaluate the designs.
The ContractVille team will decide on the selected ones, but we will also be monitoring the interaction and reaction your submission receives.

Hello contractors!
We are happy to announce the 2nd major update on our roadmap, the Taxi & Cargo update.

With this update, we're bringing you the teleportation/transportation feature you've been asking for. You will now be able to call taxis and transport customers as a taxi driver with your vehicles. With the Cargo update, you will be able to transport cargo and discover another way to earn money.

After this update, we aim to expand and detail the Taxi and Cargo update shortly.
I would like you to know that we do not ignore your requests as we proceed in accordance with our roadmap in our early access process. For this reason, in this update, we tried to include your suggestions such as teleportation, transportation, as well as your suggestions in the field of building.

In the coming period, we will be working on many innovations such as Controller Support, Garden Update, Demolish Rubble and new furniture in line with our roadmap.

Using the Taxi App, you will be able to call a taxi from the “Call a Taxi” menu by selecting the location you want to go to on the map.
When you call a taxi, it will pick you up in a few seconds and take you to your destination in a few seconds.

Now you can be a taxi driver with your car! You can search for a customer from the “Search Customer” menu using the Taxi App. Passengers around you will appear on the map and you will be able to choose which customers to accept based on distance and fare.

When you work as a taxi driver, you will earn a bonus money according to the vehicle you drive.

Classport Nimo, which we brought specially for the Taxi update, is very functional for your taxi missions. It is also a vehicle with 4 load carrying capacity and diesel fuel type. We think you will love its exterior and interior look!

E-Car-Go, which we brought specially for the Cargo update, is very functional for your cargo missions. This vehicle has a load capacity of 48 and is charged electrically. It has 3 tiers with 8 separate shelves and allows you to sort and organize your cargo boxes.

Using the Cargo App, you can access cargo missions. You can start 4 cargo missions at the same time. This way you can work together with your friends.
For the Cargo update, we added 2 different areas to the game where you can pick up special cargoes: the airport and the port. You can see new warehouses in these areas.
Pick up the cargo and take it to the delivery points you can see on the map, according to the addresses and numbers indicated on the boxes.

Some boxes are fragile in cargo missions. These boxes will be damaged if you crash or if you throw them out of your hand and they fall to the ground. Fragile boxes earn more money than normal boxes. Each box has a Delivery Quality and your earnings will increase or decrease accordingly.

New goals for Taxi and Cargo await you!
We've added a series of achievements to Steam so you can show off and show off your mastery of taxi and cargo missions.

Refresh your look!
With this update, we've added new clothes to the game. I'd like to announce that there will be more clothes-related content coming soon!

More useful interface!
We realized that there was a need for an improvement in the Mission Needs tab and made it easier to use. We provided the ability to select and view the object that needs a mission.
Now when you click on the button in the Mission Needs tab, the items you need will be listed in front of you.

Colorful ceilings!
It is now possible to paint ceilings. Expand your design by painting your ceilings in different colors!

We're always here to hear from our players and gather your thoughts! We understand that using the trolley has been a bit tricky.

• The trolley capacity has been increased from 3 to 6!
  
• With the trolley in your hand, just use the left mouse button to pick up boxes and the right mouse button to drop them.

Minor bug fixes in a major update...

• Fixed animation bugs in Trolley.
  
• Trolley can now enter houses and climb stairs.
  
• Fixed many visual bugs.
  
• Fixed a bug where “Rescuing” the Trailer would teleport the player to the garage instead of the Trailer.
  
• Car suspensions have been revised.
  
• Client was unable to jump and enter the Nexus Hatch vehicle while the Server was away. Fixed.

In preparation for the Taxi and Cargo update, we've fixed a few more bugs in the game with this update. You should know that we're working hard every day to improve your gaming experience, and thank you again for your patience.
Our next big update, Taxi and Cargo, will be coming in the course of this month. We will publish an announcement about this in the coming days.

• Players can now easily enter the Nexus Hatch Truck. You can pick up the boxes at ease!
  
• The sleep time has been adjusted. Wake-up time has been updated to 06.35.
  
• In logistics missions, tasks can now be completed by interacting with NPCs at both the pickup and delivery locations.
  
• After upgrading to level 2 in the office building, furniture that appears on the balcony can now be packed and removed.
  
• Nights are now brighter! Overhaul on lighting

• Added an EULA (End User License Agreement) and Privacy Policy.

The reason we include it is to see your preferences in the game, to see what you like the most and to improve it. We also want to get stats on them so we can use them in future updates.
For legal reasons, we need your permission for this.
If you reject the privacy policy, we will not retain your data.

• Fixed an issue where clothes were not visible in the dressing room.
  
• Corrected a problem in the "Go Green" missions where task descriptions wouldn't disappear upon completion or continuation.
  
• Radiators were snapping below the floor when placed under a window. This has been fixed.
  
• The discount label in German language stores was misaligned. This has been corrected.
  
• Fixed a problem where boxes displayed duplicate names when hovered over.
  
• Amid's "easy" contract mission was missing detailed objectives. All objectives are now visible.

• Fixed an issue where homes on land properties would disappear.
  
• In co-op mode, trash boxes were not spawning when the server was in a vehicle. This has been resolved.
  
• Fixed a texture issue in the Granite Tile Pack where the appearance didn't match the package image.
  
• Merchant eyes skill was not giving the full price at level 3. Fixed.
  
• When the diesel gas canister was installed and removed from the generator in the office, it turned to unleaded. Fixed.

• An exploit that allowed players to obtain multiple coupons in the Factory by rapidly pressing the E key has been fixed.
  
• Fixed an issue where different exterior claddings could be stacked.
  
• In all vehicles, fuel refilling would continue even if fuel was added and immediately removed. This has been corrected.
  
• Fixed a bug where the mixer could take more than its capacity.

• Fixed a crash when sending the vehicle to the garage when the client trailer is attached to the vehicle.
  
• When the client sent the car to the garage, it did not appear on the server. If the server also sent a car to the garage, two cars were overlapping. This is fixed.
  
• Client could not repaint when motion sickness setting was on on the server in built houses. Fixed.
  
• Fixed a bug that caused the Gas canister to appear empty in Co-op.

• Parcel replanning was deleting doors and windows.
  
• Fixed a bug that caused the color and appearance of built houses to change.

Trailer and Trolley are now available for purchase!

• The Trolley is now available for purchase at the Hardware Store.
  
• The Trailer can now be bought from the car shop in the upper part of the city and car shop in the Port Town.
  
• Adjustments made to the physics of the Trailer and Trolley.

We understand that the boost time may feel brief for you.

• Information about boosts and durations for food and drink items has been added.
  
• Boost durations have been adjusted: "Feast" is now 15 minutes, while others are increased to 10 minutes.

Little adjustments help to simplify the gameplay.

• Water consumption in the "Go Green" quest reduced by half for better optimization.
  
• Added sonar for animals, vandals, and talkable NPCs.
  
• Added map markers for the five remaining dirt spots to clean for the "Volunteer for a Clean Future" quest.
  
• Updated markers for animals on the map.
  
• "Go to City Hall" and "Go to the Police Station" have been added as subtasks for relevant quests.
  
• Area icons added for locations like the fountain, delivery point for recycled boxes, handing in vandal photos, and taking ads on vehicles.
  
• In Go Green missions, we added outlines for where to place an object when we have it. For example, in the Green City Initiative mission, if we have gravel in our hands, we can easily understand which area we should place it in.
  
• We have added the possibility to access the trophies in Trophy Cabinets so that you can get them easily.

Time to escape the symphony of chaos!

• Landscape adjustments made, including corrections to decorative objects and additional foliage in certain areas.
  
• Several ambient sounds have been removed and replaced with new ones.

Here we go...

1. Fixed the "Someone in the house" error in newly added houses.
   
2. Resolved the issue where players received penalties for stolen furniture when leaving certain houses, even if nothing was moved.
   
3. Fixed a problem where the "Demolish tool" and "Handcraft Level 3" tools could not hit the same wall.
   
4. The "Trophy Achievement" issue has been resolved; the achievement is now correctly awarded upon completion.
   
5. Fixed several save/load errors in the "Clean Water Campaign."
   
6. Resolved an issue where replays did not reset the quest before starting.
   
7. Fixed a bug where map markers for "Go Green" objects did not disappear when the player completed the quest early.
   
8. Corrected an error where recycled objects needed to be placed at the delivery point instead of being thrown into the trash bin for the "Go Green" objectives.
   
9. Resolved an issue where nails continued to appear in sonar after completing the "Go Green" quest.
   
10. Fixed a bug where clients saw plantable objects as completed after a save/load.
