After reading some of these reviews I think it only fair to give a somewhat opposing view to what is being claimed.

Graphics are not great, they are ok! but great.. no, not sure why thats being said, there are huge areas of terrain that have been painted black .. on snow, looks out of place and like someone dabbed a huge black paintbrush on it, other high res against very low res textures and so on.

There are tons of repeat assets, multiple buildings repeated identically, most with only 1-2 items i them. Trees repeated, like looking at a single cloned tree x1000 and calling it a forest. There are some unique station layouts once you enter chapter 1 but there are still a ton of repeat assets and really over done, like 40 solar generators or 50 shipping crates.

Building interface is not good, anyone saying otherwise is pulling your leg or have never played a building game before, its a very simple bog standard menu, that desperately needs some QoL fixes. To give you a blind example, you Press B, select category, select sub category, select piece, place piece then right click to close the entire build menu and start again to place a different piece, you can't go back to the previous menu, you literally have to close it and start from scratch PER PIECE.

Each location has only a few items to find, all from the very small item catalogue this game has due to lack of content. I am literally talking about 1 building having 1 item in it kind of bad. The story is limited to finding 'notes', usually a single sentence per note, nothing riveting or engaging.

All that being said, the train side of things is actually pretty good, you have to time your trip to each station, getting caught in a storm in your train without a heater will kill you, not managing energy properly will result in having no power to shoot at the drones who are bombing the crap out of your train or end up limping to the next station because you train has no power to move.

Plus its only £8.

I do recommended, purely for the train fun and price but these reviews calling it awesome/great/amazing like its one of the better games on steam will leave the vast majority of regular survival players pretty disappointed due to the lack of content and basic gameplay this has. If you have played VoidTrain, that game has quality, content, gameplay, balance, progression, story, art style and much more 10 times over than this game by a long shot.

The game has good potential!
Difficulty selection doesn't seem to impact anything and even on easy is quite difficult.
The weather is too static and predictable.
There are too few ways of succeeding. The game asks you to be very meticulous if you wish to proceed to the next area.

Gave up on the game on the way to "the dome".
Will revisit game after some updates and without a doubt change the rating to thumbs up!
