Hi everyone! Its been quiet around here recently. Back in December of 2024 I decided that the best course of action for the game from both a player and developer perspective was to overhaul the core foundations of the game to better suit the game its become over the course of Early Access. We've already been through a few more minor overhauls, but they were always to content itself, rather than the core foundations of the game which strayed behind our action oriented direction and level of polish I think is necessary.


One major thing that has changed has been timelines. Throughout my development career I have struggled with self-imposed timelines, with the attempt to please the players and ensure they always have something to do. These timelines have consistently damaged the quality and polish of content and restricted me from giving each and every facet of the game the time and love it needs to be fantastic. Going forward there will be absolutely no timelines given unless the content is already finished and scheduled for a release. In addition, updates, including this one, may take longer than usual as I take the extra hours to really hone in on quality from maps to enemies to spells, systems, townsfolk and the bunch.


In terms of progress, as of now our brand new Tutorial Zone, "Voyager's Isle" is nearly complete which is a huge milestone for this update as it is the single largest and most time consuming part since it also required mass overhauls to most systems like Gear, Enemies, Classes, Items, Crafting, ect which all had to be completed, at least in a systemic level, before the Tutorial Zone could be completed.


After the completion of Voyager's Isle, the rest should go a bit faster since Im repainting on an existing canvas, but there will be no timeline for release until the entire update is completed in full.
