We’re extremely excited to bring you a new update which puts Who is Abby to version 1.1.4! This update focuses on enhancing performance and addressing several key issues reported by the community.

Here’s a bit of a breakdown of the changes:

• Changes approach for non ray traced lighting on the final chapter which has massively improved the performance. Note.We still recommend using ray tracing as the game just looks better.
  
• Fixed multiple sticky stuck spots throughout the game.
  
• Fixed Police station backdrop bug. There is now something to look at out of the windows.
  
• Fixed an issue with the museum not loading properly from Chapter 6.
  
• Fixed issue where you see Tom in the boat before getting in
  
• Fixed Stocksynd House Achievement I wonder where you'll find that one....
  
• Fixed the “floaty Tom” issue in a later flashback sequence.
  
• Fixed an issue where players could light the fire from the attic in Chapter 6.
  
• Many many other minor tweaks and fixes

It took us a little while to get this one out because of the difficulties with the performance issue on the final chapter for players not using ray tracing however, it is now resolved and runs considerably better. We managed to include a bunch of other minor fixes too.

• Memory Fragment Placement: Fixed the bug preventing memory fragments from being placed in the Chapter 5 memory zone.
  
• Item Streaming: Fixed an issue with item streaming in the upper area of Museum Chapter 8.
  
• Removed Chris P Bacon's Bucket: It’s gone now. 🐖🚫
  
• New Glasses:Fixed the focus problem with gas station shelves.
  
• Player Launching: Fixed a bug where some inspectable objects would launch the player, while it could be fun it's not there by design.
  
• Subtitle Corrections: Fixed several subtitle mismatches.

We're thrilled to bring you what we're once again calling yet another final update of our Early Access phase. While we've previously hinted at final updates, this update truly sets the stage for the upcoming full release... Probably. We've overhauled several core aspects of the game to generally make it better and prepare for the grand release!

• Prologue Level Completely Revamped: We've done quite a bit with the first chapter, packing it with new activities and a richer narrative. There are even a few rather cool secrets, but you'll need the full version to find some of them... ;)
  
• Additional Checkpoints: We have massively increased the checkpoint density across all chapters, making coming and going more enjoyable.
  
• Redesigned Menu: The menu has been redesigned once again. It now has a fresh and more simple interface that’s not only sleeker but also optimised for controller use.
  
• Settings Overhaul: We've expanded the settings menu with additional options, including the ability to select ultra settings without needing to enable ray tracing, hopefully providing top performance across a broader range of hardware.
  
• Player Sticky Points Squashed: Numerous points where the player could get stuck have been fixed.
  
• Refined Path Restrictions: We've completely revamped how player movement is blocked to keep you on the intended path without escape.
  
• More Inspectable Objects: Discover many new items throughout the game, each adding depth to the story and environment. Or just listen to Tom's jaded view about a toaster, for example.
  
• Increased Narrative Focus: We’ve enriched the storyline with added details that highlight the game's lore and enhance the overall narrative impact—as long as you're paying attention, at least.

Welcome to the latest update for Who Is Abby. After a few minor delays we are super pleased to bring you this brand new update. Its all very exciting as we pave the way for the full game release, we're overjoyed to introduce some awesome enhancements and crucial fixes that we have been working hard on.

But first....
We have made some back stage adjustments to the control system and due to this please click the "Reset" button 🔄 in the settings menu. This will stop you seeing any control related anomalies during play.


Storyline: 🗺️ We've added a feature to help understand your journey as Tom, hitting the Storyline button during the game will present a beautiful scene to help you understand where you've been and what you are trying to do. This should really bring something to enhancing navigation and story immersion.
Major Performance Overhaul: 🖥️ We've made a huge update to the graphics and performance. Expect better framerates in both Ray-Traced and Non-Ray-Traced modes. Also, the non Ray-Traced modes are looking better than ever!
Peaceful Mode: 🛡️With the new peaceful mode enabled, it is no longer possible for Tom to come to harm within the game.
Input Sensitivity Control: 🎚️ Adjust the game to your preferred play style with customisable control settings.
Skippable Cut-scenes: 🚀 We've added the ability to skip cut scenes.
Zoom!: 🔍 It is now possible to look a little closer at the items within the world. Keep your eye out for all the little details.

📲 Menu Overhaul: The redesign of the menu continues and it is coming together really nicely now! We even updated the Logo to make it a bit more readable
🛠️ Huge UI update: We have redone many of the UI elements including fonts and control icons to make it look better and easier to follow.
🔄 Updated Loading Screens: Slicker looking and more informative.
💾 Additional Save Points: We've added more checkpoints.
🗣️ New Dialogues and Sound FX: Lots of new bits and pieces added all around the world
🚶 New Character Animations: Just a few tweaks
🚶 More bananas: No not really, but I would of done if I was allowed.
🛠️ Level Design Adjustments: A few areas have been improved for play-ability
⚡ Optimized Level Streaming: As part of the performance upgrade.
🌟 Additional Ray Tracing Options: To make it a little easier to understand the settings in the menu.
