Hello Adventurers of the Cloudy Valley Archipelago!

I took some time off this month to rest and recharge, but I’m thrilled to see that the game has reached so many players and that many of you are enjoying it! :)
As Cloudy Valley is the first game I’ve ever made, I’m so glad that so many people have played and enjoyed it. ❤️ It was a lot of work, I made plenty of mistakes, and I poured so much of myself into it.

However, I noticed that some of you encountered bugs and issues that were completely game- or fun-breaking... I’m really sorry about that!

I’ll be working on a new patch to address these problems and make Cloudy Valley a more stable game, so you can enjoy it without being ambushed by a wild bug. :)

Also, if you’ve had any issues with your inventory, feel free to DM me on X or any other social network so I can help fix the problem. Unfortunately, this is an issue I can’t fix globally...

I hope many of you will continue to enjoy Cloudy Valley!

Bugs & Feedback

BUGS: 1) When you pet the sheep their eyes won't follow the head movement which makes them look lost on the sheep's body. 2) Climbing a ladder out of the water (the one on the starter island in my case) held me captive in the climbing animation as soon as I reached the top of the ladder. I was able to walk around even though the character was still climbing. I was able to select items but I couldn't use them. Going back to main menu and reentering the game fixed it luckily. https://steamproxy.com/shar...

[BUG] Lost almost every items after update 1.02.1

Happent to someone else ? 😥 Just start the game today after update, and lost almost every items in my inventory, Will try to downgrade and find save's backup 🥸

Golden Clover Achievement [Spoiler]

I just completed a second playthrough to get the achievements - many thanks for implementing them! However, the achievement for "You Did It" did not trigger despite me having two Golden Clover in my inventory. In my first playthrough, at the top of the mountain I have to plant the seed and water it for the first Golden Clover to appear; in my second playthrough, there was already a Golden Clover at that same spot, so when I try to grab the flower, I planted a seed instead, and triggered the phone call whe...

Correction of the climbing bug: This bug has been reported frequently! I encountered some issues while fixing it, and it took me some time to figure out how to proceed, but it should work now.
Fix for the "You did it!" achievement: This achievement, which you unlock when picking up your first golden clover, should now work properly.
Correction for Louise's quest: Previously, you couldn't give her a Golden Clover even if you had two in your inventory. This issue has been resolved, and the quest should now work as intended. :D

I'm still working on some fixes, but I'm a bit tired since I've been working on this game non-stop for almost 1.5 years. I'm taking my time to ensure these corrections are done right. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you're still enjoying the game!

Cute Demo

I have to say the demo is pretty cute. It seems peaceful and relaxing. The controls though feel a bit wonky. Not sure but they seem like they're mapped to a controller even if keyboard/mouse works. For example: on the menu screen it shows Demo with A behind hit. Hitting A on the keyboard doesn't actually do anything. Just randomly trying buttons on the keyboard I figured out that ASDW are the movement keys and E is the confirm key. In game it was a bit easier with the E being above the head of the creatur...

Fixed a bug in the endgame scene where Pix was floating sitting in the air
Added eyes to the sheep (> References to someone who said that putting eyes would be better)
Fixed a bug where Pix was stuck at the exit of a ladder
Added 14 Achievements!

Cute little game about exploring different islands. I love games that have this similar story & vibe. I enjoyed trying to get as many collectibles as possible during my stream, and overall checking out the different islands and characters.
