what do the perpetual generators do? I'm not exactly sure, please tell me.

I think something about boosting time or something.. but i don't quite understand how it boosts or speeds up gameplay exactly? what is it really doing with time?

So, I was messing around with resolution settings, and while I don't exactly remember what I did, it was something along the lines of entering borderless window. Now, while my game appears in tab view, I cannot tab into it, and it's simply black on the tab view, and inaccessible. Any way to reset resolution settings without actually going into the game?...

So... I proceed by uploading data and receiving after reboot science A "points". These points also helping me reaching Tier 1 Milestones. The more I collect the more I get. So far so good. But why does the game completely reset the Milestone (Tier 1) gains when I do a T2 Reboot? My "issue" is I have to do several reboots inside "T1" range, just to get at the same progression point as before after I did a T2 reboot. Do I miss anything or is it meant to be that "wasteful"?...
