Awakening Sarah is a pretty amazing game about exploration and talking with NPCs that I would recommend to everyone who likes Metroidvanias; there is no combat, so it's a pretty chill experience.

The idea is finding 24 items dispersed in multiple worlds, most of which open new ways to explore and get into new areas. A small problem is the lack of a map; my recommendation is playing the game in 2 or 3 sittings fairly close to each other, because otherwise you are bound to forget things and get stuck trying to find a way to your next item.

The pair of scissors is probably the tool I liked to use the most.

I cut the AI “artist”.

I made a gallery full of memes.

The only thing I didn't like in this game was the optional “Path of Pain, Rat Edition”. That was hard and totally unnecessary, hahaha.

The real takeaway is that I had a lot of fun exploring this dream world, full of interesting places and characters.

The game really shine in the little details, making it a really great experience overall.
