Is there any way to reduce the likelihood of exploding caissons? It's happening too often and determining the outcome of the battle.

Does this units ZOC block confederate path victory conditions even if hex is occupied by confederate unit?

Just finished playing my first game solo as the Union. The Insurrectionists/Rebels were pushing the Union back and managed to eliminate a 1 Star Union unit on Cemetery Hill. I though the Union would lose. But, the Rebels ran out of Artillery and the tide turned. Reynolds led the counter attack on non defensible terrain and 4 Rebels were eliminated. Victory for the Union. Fun game with interesting mechanics....

At what level of operational forces does the game works? Regiment, brigade?
